Upon opening the excellent well packaged box and all the tape holding it all together for storage and transport it did an excellent job.Really impressed when open it looks very well made and everything was there that was advertised so first impressions was very impressed.Couldn’t wait for dirty pots live alone so it takes time to build up a load so piled all my clean crockery mugs etc in the machine one tablet using the jug to fill set it to work on the quick wash 26 minutes and wow very quiet the suds and water were terrific couldn’t believe how it was working. Using my smart meter I monitored the wash on my electric unit rate it cost a whole ten pence for the whole cycle so depending on your electric cost per unit it may be more of course it will be more on a longer cycle eg 69 mins etc. when finished opened door pulled out the draw god damn the pots were red hot so the water temp is good although the pots were clean on going in I believe they were cleaner on coming out as the machine water is a lot hotter than water I can put my hands in to wash pots and it’s constantly rinsing away the dirty water this machine is amazing wish I’d bought one ten years ago. Couldn’t wait till after dinner put my plate glass pans cutlery in gravy jug one tablet and the quick wash again everything was spotless even removed tea stains from my tea mug this is brilliant hope it lasts for years I won’t be parting with this in a hurry a lot less washing less standing at the sink washing no kettle to boil for hot water I’m saving time and money with this machine excellent value for money so easy to install and operating is child’s play even me at 70 walked all over this without reading the instructions press the select program button twice to get the quick program press s/p button stand back watch and enjoy I used 3.5 jugs of water in the machine switch on at mains fill with water until it beeps done if it won’t start it beeps and a minute red light flashes telling you not enough water so it had to be a full tank for it to start good idea so it can’t run out of water mid program fits perfect in a small kitchen next to a now redundant draining board love it love It love it get one can’t go wrong. Observational edit (2 1/2 years later), definitely buy a windowed version. It just helps being able to see inside, it helps me to stack better/more efficient next time based on how I see it being cleaned and the way the water is being splashed around this time. My main reason is that the top spinner jet fails constantly now. Well I say fail, it will not spin for say the first 5?mins of a wash. If I pause the machine and spin it manually, there’s like minuscule little balls of limescale? brownish in colour that fall out as I spin it. This mixed with washing tablet powder before it’s dissolved. My guess is wear over time is now letting the limescale through enough to cause friction on the spinner until it gets dissolved. Maybe if I ordered a new top spinner it would fix this issue?. Anyway, most dirty items are placed upside down so although this happens, I haven’t noticed any difference in cleaning performance.Original review:So I’ve been on the fence about purchasing a tabletop dishwasher for around 10 years now but they always needed to be plumbed in, which is a big no no in my rented studio flat. When I found these table top dishwashers I was so happy, one with a water tank that doesn’t need to be plumbed in! I read reviews and one 1 particular review said pretty much the same so I thought ‘ok you’ve been looking at these for a good few months now and read many many reviews , so if want this one, go ahead and buy it. Wow! I wish I had got it sooner. It cleans exactly the same as my parents full size expensive bosch (depending on detergent used, I can’t state this enough!). I live in a small studio flat and there is no door from my living room to my kitchen, and I watch the tv in my living room about 12ft away, the noise is barely noticeable to me and what I can hear is kind of relaxing with it swooshing the water around. Some comparable units come with a water filling tool rather than just pouring the water straight into the top, which does cause a little bit of splashing (nothing that a quick wipe doesn’t fix) but I wish mine had it (I’m thinking of buying it as a spare part if I can find one). Edit: I bought an automotive funnel from Tesco’s (slightly larger than a kitchen funnel) and sawed off the tail. This works wonders!. If I could improve anything, I would want it just an inch bigger front and sides to accommodate my sauté pan (which I use daily) and still need to wash by hand as it’s just slightly to long, but that’s ok.If you want one and are on the fence too, I would say ‘just go ahead and buy it’, you’ll love it!Update: bought July 23, now October 24As you can see from the last photo, I have limescale build up on the heating element. I’m treating this with some Amazon bought limescale remover (in photo) and it’s slowly doing the job. Update: this limescale remover has done its job and the heating plate is now nice and shiny. I’ve used it once a week until now (pack suggests once a month) and gone through maybe 4-5 packs. I’ll now switch to 1 every 3 weeks and adjust accordingly. I don’t mind spending the extra money as it keeps the dishwasher in tip top condition. I just pop it in with a normal wash and that’s it, no worry about extra rinsing etc after use, it’s just super easy to use. ONE thing I will say is to try different washing tabs as I used Finish Powerball for the first year and although everything came out clean on a standard eco wash, the quick wash was not great and sometimes needed a second go. Tea stains on mugs especially. I thought it was the limitations of the dishwasher, but it wasn’t. I changed to Fairy Original and the clean was night and day. The quick wash became my go to washing cycle as it was now perfect and my cutlery was noticeably shinier too. I then switched to Aldi Mangum premium as the ingredients seem to be the same and it’s massively cheaper. Fairy Platinum Plus is the most expensive, but is no doubt the best. In my test cutlery looks ultra shiny and polished. Aldi is the same, minus the polished look. So my recommendation is Aldi Magnum at 7p a tablet cheaper. Although, maybe, I wouldn’t need to use the limescale tabs if I used fairy PP full time? Update: the top spinner jet gets stuck almost every wash now (2 years old) and I have to pause the machine, open the door and give the spinner a spin forwards and back to get unmixed powder or limescale out, so than it can spin. This is despite my regular inspections and filter/spinner cleaning (once every 3 days?). Despite this, I would not want to be without this dishwasher and would immediately replace it if it were to go faulty. The plus outweighs any negative. I just can’t recommend it enough! Summary; if your here checking out this item, think no more, just buy it, TREAT YOURSELF if nothing else. You deserve this machine and it will work hard for you 👌

This dishwasher is a little lifesaver sitting on my kitchen counter. I was a bit iffy at first about giving up some valuable counter space, but let me tell you, it’s totally worth it for the sheer convenience this thing brings into my life.This dishwasher is a total game changer. I'm all about getting things done quick, and this machine fits right into my busy life. It has a quick mode that cleans dishes superfast and leaves dishes very clean. It's small, yeah, so you can't stuff a ton of big plates or bowls in there at once. I sometimes end up doing a couple of rounds if I've got a lot to wash, but honestly, it's such a time saver overall.Setting it up was a very easy. The instructions were very straight forward. I fill up the tank with the supplied jug. The machine is super easy to keep clean too.A plus is the fruit wash setting. Love it! Gets my fruits nice and clean. Plus, it automatically dries the dishes right after washing. So, by the time I'm ready to unload, everything's warm and dry. Pretty neat, right?Pros and Cons:Pros:+ Saves a bunch of time and fits perfectly in smaller spaces.+ Quick mode is a blast. Super quick and effective.+ Setup is simple, and it’s easy to maintain.+ That fruit wash and auto-dry feature? Chef's kiss!Cons:+ Can't fit a ton of big items at once, so might need extra loads.+ It does pull a bit of electricity, but that’s the trade-off for quick convenience.Final thoughts:If you’re on the fence about this Hermitlux Dishwasher, I say go for it! It’s been a solid addition to my place, and I can’t really picture my kitchen without it now. Saves me so much hassle and time. Seriously, a must-have if you hate doing dishes as much as I do.

Update after 3 months:I still maintain that it works great, however there are some things I've learned in day to day use.1. I have pasta bowls and larger plates- the pasta bowls only fit in the plate section and due to their shape I have to limit how many I put if they are very dirty.- The larger plates don't really fit so have to angle them in2. The section for cups/ mugs do not fit any of my mugs, they are too tall, its not very useful3. The cutlery holder is good, but I take the lid thing off4. One of the regular dishwasher tablets is probably too much so I cut them in half before using them, I feel its a waste to use 1 full tablet for such a small washOverall I'm still happy with it, I wish it was slightly taller and had the hot air spout on the top or front. The company that makes them will not create any other configurations of the dish tray inside which is mental.tldr: Works great, check the drain water hose before installing it, its simple to install but has a heat exhaust on the right side so be careful not to put it against something to its right side.The dishwasher is packed well, assembly is straight forward however the pipe to remove dirty water had the tightening screw the on the wrong end, thank fully I noticed and swapped it round.Overall its a dishwasher, does exactly what it needs to. My dishes come out clean.the product itself:overall 7/10 because the drain pipe to remove water could be screw on - why it isn't I dont know.On the right side of the machine there is an outlet for heat/ steam so you can't put it up against something to its right.Dishwasher tablets work totally fine, but are probably too much for the limited items you can put in and it will add unnecessary costs because of such a small wash load. I've looked into some dishwasher powder and liquids and will make the switch when my tablets run out.I've also done some calculation on the energy use, its somewhere 5p-10p/ wash however depends on the tariff you would have, before all this cost of living stuff it would cost under 4p I reckon.Overall its solid and works for me in a temporary solution

I am extremely happy with this little machine. I am just a girl, and I found it really easy to install. Mine isn't connected to the water (I'm filling it up from the top), but I believe it would have been quite easy to connect it for someone who has no experience with such things.I've had it for a year and tried all settings, I have to say the quick setting isn't very strong (obviously) so don't put crazy dirty things in there. But all the others perform really well, even the eco setting leaves my dishes sparkly clean!It fits perfectly on my counter. I had to buy an extension cable to plug it in, but that's simply how my flat is laid out. It still works well, no issues!I have the one with the glass door, I enjoy watching the water splashing and even the cat finds it fascinating at times. It is not the quietest thing in the world, but I have no complaints! It's not like it's on for half the day. I also think it looks quite cute, my landlord said he likes it!I believe it was definitely a worthy investment for myself. I work a job where I'm on my feet all day, so there are days when I just don't feel like doing the dishes.. I live alone so I don't have too many, sometimes I "fill it up" with a few days' worth of dishes and mugs before I turn it on. I will say though, some of my plates are on the bigger side and I do have to play with it for a bit when I want to fit those in properly. Even some of my longer/chunkier cutlery can be a bit of a pain to put in, but that's the tiniest of issues really!I would also like to mention that I live in a fully electric flat, and I was a bit worried about the electricity bill. For me personally, on the days when I use it (and mind you, these are usually days when I'm off so I'm also washing clothes, cleaning and just sitting in front of my PC all day!) it only costs around a £1 or £2 "extra" to run it. So, all in all, it did not affect my energy bill massively at all.Please find attached some pictures and a video from this morning. :)

Initially this dishwasher was working fantastic.It’s cleaning abilities is excellent but unfortunately after 20 months the heating element stopped working, unfortunately there was only a 12 month guarantee, I would recommend purchasing one with salt water softening which this one does not have and also at least with a two year guarantee.

First impressions: I noticed other people mentioned the machine was wet right out of the box. They failed to mention there’s a sticker that says that’s normal and due to warranty tests.After figuring out the set up (and reluctantly reading the manual), I spent the entire day washing a mountain of dishes that had accumulated.Like a lot of people in the reviews, I bought this because I have disabilities and struggle with the dishes.It‘s been great, I’ve been very impressed with the performance.People have mentioned they find it to be noisy, I wouldn’t have that same complaint. I can hear it from the next room but not to the point where it would bother me. A standard dishwasher would be just as loud.Very impressed with the pressure on the machine, I put a lasagne dish in there that had been baked pretty good, no pre-soak, and it came out clean as a whistle..Reasons why I wouldn’t recommend:Some of my plates don’t fit in there very well and I have noticed that the blades are very easy to seize up if something blocks them, like a tiny bit of a plate poking out from under the dishwasher rack. I wouldn’t go with a windowless model because with the window, you can see when that is happening and correct it. Pausing the wash causes no issues in my experience.I think it’s also quite expensive for what you’re buying, so it should be considered whether this or a compact dishwasher would be better for you. If you are a renter or someone who doesn’t have any space to plumb in a new appliance, this is for you, but if you own your own home and intend to plumb it in, there are reputable brands that charge less than this for a better product.I priced a morphy Richard’s compact dishwasher for £199, so I can’t in my right mind say that this one is worth £250+, I would say closer to £175 is where I’d have wanted to pay.This is a run of the mill generic chinese dishwasher, and while there’s nothing wrong with that right now, but I worry about how repairable it’s going to be when it breaks down. I don’t think my local handyman is going to have heard of „Hermit Lux“ before, and who knows if any parts will be available. When you buy from a reputable brand, you know you don’t have to worry about that.Update: 6 month review.I've used this dishwasher near every single day without much issue. I will say that one issue I've encountered is that the water tank inlet (for jug filling rather than if you've plumbed the machine in, which I have not) likes to grow mold, so I give it a little scrub with a dab of bleach every week, that seems to do the trick.I haven't encountered any problems with the machine breaking down like other people have reviewed, but I have made sure not to put anything extremely dirty into the dishwasher, everything gets a quick rinse under the tap before it goes in & the machine gets a weekly clean down of it's parts to keep it tip top.It really has been embarrassingly life changing for me, I love this little white box. As much as I stand by the fact it could stand to be a little bit cheaper, I'd still buy it again.1 year update: still works very well, still no issues. Upgrading from a 4 star to 5 as it has been incredibly reliable, more than I was expecting it to be.

I missed having a dishwasher, everything was always clean and sterilised, I'd always had a full sized dishwasher you see and there simply wasn't enough room in my new home.I looked at several countertop dishwashers on Amazon, read through numerous reviews.Then I came across this particular countertop 4 place dishwasher, I read through the reviews, I was also impressed by the easy to follow instruction video and so I ordered it.My item arrived following day New Years Eve. I carefully unpacked it and placed it where I'd intended, then sat back on a kitchen chair with a cuppa and read through the easy to follow booklet.Anyway, I then I attached the drainage hose with jubilee clip provided, then plugged the dishwasher into the mains.Hadn't long eaten etc so I was happy to load the dishwasher up and I again referred to the booklet.At the top of the dishwasher, using the jug provided, I poured in the required amount of cold water.I suggest using just half of a All-In-1 dishwasher tablet. No need for dishwasher salt or rinse aid..Highly recommended dishwasher, choice of cycles, washes and dries, economical, space saving, it even washes fruit with basket provided, glasses, washes and sterilises baby bottles etc too !.*Read through instruction booklet and keep it on hand*.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(The dishwasher can be plumbed in if required, a Y connector maybe needed).(Use a watering can for hose drainage if you can't have your dishwasher near a sink)(Dishwasher can be placed anywhere on a suitable surface to suit).

***Update nach fast 9 Monaten Gebrauch:Zuerst: Ich liebe ihn und bin immer noch absolut zufrieden. Auch kann ich bisher keine Leistungsminderung feststellen. Wir haben sehr hartes Wasser, weshalb ich immer zwei Tabs benutze.Eigentlich habe ich keine wirklichen Veränderungen in meiner Rezension. Das einzige was mir nach Monaten der Benutzung auffiel ist, dass die Streben im Korb recht großzügig sind. Dadurch rutscht Manchmal eine Kante von einem Geschirrteil und blockiert den unteren Wasserstrahl. Lässt sich zwar sofort und easy fixen aber dennoch erwähnenswert.***Nach tagelanger Recherche habe ich mich für diesen Spüler entschieden.Heute kam er an. Hat 3 unterschiedliche Programme mit dem dreckigen Geschirr absolviert und hier meine Erfahrungen (Plus-neutral-negativ)+Verschluss funktioniert über Magnete. Diese haben die perfekte Stärke. Defekter schließmechanismus der Tür ist eigentlich unmöglich.+Sehr groß. Selbst meine größten Teller haben reingepasst.+Ich hatte hier eine richtig eklige Tasse stehen. Bestimmt schon 2 Monate alt. Absolut hygienisch rein. Als wäre sie nie dreckig gewesen. Also Reinigungsleistung ist hammer.+Wenn man den Korb ganz rauszieht, wird das wieder-nach-hinten-rollen verhindert.# Ich finde die Lautstärke normal. Weder zu bollerig oder laut. Es ist halt ein technisches Gerät.# Bei mir war auch bereits Wasser drin. Allerdings gab es einen Hinweisaufkleber und es hat weder gerochen, noch hatte ich den Eindruck es stünde bereits Tagelang darin. Es wirkt alles sehr hygienisch und absolut neuwertig. (allgemein macht das Gerät einen ungewöhnlich hochwertigen Eindruck)-Die Tabs sollen nur eingeklemmt werden und dadurch fallen sie direkt raus. Es wäre schöner, wenn man diese irgendwie fixieren könnte.-Obwohl die Öffnung zum Tank wirklich wirklich groß ist, läuft mir das Wasser immer daneben. Vielleicht bin ich zu ungeschickt, aber ein schlauch o.ä. fände ich einfacher.-Der Abwasserschlauch wird nochmal mit einem Ring fixiert. Aber diesen habe ich nicht zu bekommen. Das war so ein massiver nerv kram. Als es dann endlich geschafft war, war die Freude groß.Fazit:Die nächsten Monate wird sich zeigen, ob auch die verarbeitete Elektronik mithalten kann. Als alleinerziehende Mutter² bleibt oft Geschirr liegen, weil es so lange dauert alles abzuwaschen. Und 255€ sind sehr viel Geld. Und das will man wenn dann auch vernünftig ausgeben. Was mir hier echt gelungen ist. Ich bin absolut begeistert und das suchen/vergleichen hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Die Spülgänge haben meine Erwartungen erfüllt und teilweise übertroffen. Sehr starke kleine Maschiene. Für kleine Küchen ohne Anschluss lohnt sich diese Investition. Nur mit den Tabs muss ich mich noch durchprobieren.Der Versand hat mir sehr gut gefallen! Via DHL und mit live-tracking. War sehr schnell da.

Con una cucina vecchia non avevo possibilità di mettere la lavastoviglie. Questa mi ha svoltato le giornate.Piccola ed elegante, facile da installare senza idraulico ne lavori murali. La uso appoggiata sul mobile, con lo scarico nel lavandino e la riempio con la brocca. Anche se piccola ci entra parecchia roba, fino a 4 coperti. E' anche divertente vedere dall'oblò.Ha diverse funzioni e sono tutte comode, non è neanche rumorosa.La uso da un anno e va ancora benissimo. Consigliata!

J'ai acheté ce petit lave-vaisselle car je n'en pouvais plus de faire sans arrêt la vaisselle. C'est vraiment une corvée pour moi, cela me prend beaucoup trop de temps et je me retrouvais avec des assiettes empilées sans arrêt.Je le recommande à absolument tout le monde. Ce petit Hermitlux m'a vraiment changé la vie. J'étais assez hésitante au début car ça reste un budget malgré que cela soit bien moins cher qu'un lave-vaisselle de taille normale. Au final, je ne regrette absolument pas.- FRÉQUENCE D'UTILISATION :Pour une personne habitant seule avec parfois des invités, je le fais tourner au moins une fois par jour, le matin quand je pars au travail, et quand je reviens tout est propre et PRESQUE sec (j'en reparlerai après).Personnellement, j'avais une arrivée d'eau disponible mais pas de place pour mettre un vrai lave-vaisselle. C'est pour ça que j'ai choisi ce petit qui reste installé sur mon comptoir de cuisine.- ARRIVÉE D'EAU ET ÉVACUATION :Au début je l'ai utilisé manuellement, en mettant de l'eau à chaque lavage avec le pichet. Très vite ça m'a lassée, et dans l'optique de gagner du temps je l'ai finalement relié à une arrivée d'eau un peu plus lointaine avec un tuyau de 3m. Cela fonctionne bien et c'est vraiment pratique de ne pas avoir à remettre de l'eau à chaque fois bien que ça soit également un point fort du produit pour ceux qui n'ont pas d'arrivée d'eau.Concernant l'évacuation, le tuyau est glissé dans mon évier, caché par mon porte-éponge. C'est très discret et on ne voit même pas que le tuyau est là. La ventouse ne fonctionne pas par contre, je l'ai calé moi-même.- CE QU'ON PEUT Y METTRE :Je l'ai depuis à peu près deux mois maintenant et il est très efficace. Je préfère être honnête : je mets absolument tout dedans : des poêles, casseroles, passoire, couverts, assiettes de toutes tailles même des grandes, bols, tupperwares, vases... Tout y passe, et tout est très bien nettoyé.Même des gros plats de tartiflette passés au four ont testé ce lave-vaisselle, et ils étaient parfaitement propres à la fin.- LE LAVAGE :J'utilise majoritairement le lavage éco qui dure 30 minutes, largement suffisant pour la vaisselle quotidienne. Quand j'ai un plat vraiment très sale, je mets le lavage standard ou strong.Tout est parfaitement bien nettoyé.J'utilise la moitié d'une tablette tout-en-un suite à quelques commentaires, et c'est suffisant. À mettre directement dans l'emplacement prévu, même si ça ne sert à rien au final car il tombe directement dans le bac principal. Je pense même que l'on peut largement faire un bon nettoyage avec juste 1/4 de tablette, c'est à tester.- LE SÉCHAGE :Concernant le séchage, c'est là que j'y vois quelques défauts. Il reste quasi systématiquement de l'eau sur certains objets de vaisselle (par exemple les tasses ou les verres, tout ce qui est susceptible de retenir l'eau).Si je suis présente lors du nettoyage, je ne choisis pas le séchage automatique et j'ouvre directement pour que la vaisselle sèche à l'air libre dans l'optique de faire des économies d'énergie. Sinon, quand je pars le matin au travail, le séchage tourne pendant 1h puis la ventilation automatique se met en marche.Il reste tout de même quelques traces de lavage sur la vaisselle, beaucoup plus quand je sèche à l'air libre que quand je sèche via le lave-vaisselle. C'est à prendre en compte, mais ce n'est pas du tout gênant dans la vie quotidienne et on y fait très peu attention.Je pense que ça dépend de ce qu'on utilise comme nettoyant pour lave-vaisselle, à tester aussi.- LA CONTENANCE :Il suffit simplement de savoir bien gérer le rangement, mais ça s'apprend facilement au fil des lavages. Au final le lave-vaisselle a vraiment une bonne contenance et on peut mettre énormément de choses.N'hésitez pas à retirer le couvercle grillagé du bac à couverts, ça permet d'en mettre beaucoup plus à la fois.Je pense qu'en moyenne, je dirai que je peux mettre énormément de couverts, 2 grandes assiettes, une poêle et des verres. Ou bien plusieurs grandes assiettes, bols, verres...Forcément pour des plus grosses casseroles ça prendra plus de place et il faudra s'y prendre plusieurs fois.- L'ENTRETIEN :Je rince et lave le filtre à peu près une fois par mois. Pour ne pas l'encrasser, n'hésitez pas à d'abord passer un coup d'eau sur les plats qui contiennent encore des morceaux de nourriture (un grain de riz par exemple).- LE BRUIT :Le bruit est présent mais très supportable. On pourrait le comparer à un lave-linge silencieux par exemple. Ou un four en grosse activité. Forcément, quand il est en route, vous l'entendrez, mais ça reste négligeable, ce n'est pas trop dérangeant.- L'ENCOMBREMENT :Ça pèse tout de même son poids, et ça prend de la place sur le plan de travail. Malgré tout, ça reste évidemment bien plus petit qu'un lave-vaisselle classique. N'hésitez pas à prendre les mesures et à faire la simulation sur votre plan de travail pour estimer quelle place ça prendrait.En résumé, c'est un achat que je ne regrette absolument pas. Pour le moment cela fait uniquement 2 mois que je l'ai, donc il faut voir sa longévité sur 6 mois voire 1 an, mais je pense qu'il est bien parti pour durer. Ce mini lave-vaisselle m'a vraiment changé la vie. Il est idéal pour les studios, les personnes qui n'ont pas la place ou l'installation nécessaire. J'étais sceptique au début, mon entourage également, au final je recommande vivement et je ne peux plus m'en passer.Les + :- Facile d'utilisation- Lave parfaitement- Sèche relativement bien- Pas besoin d'arrivée d'eau ni d'évacuation d'eau mais possible de le raccorder- Peu bruyant- Gain de temps énormeLes - :- Séchage pas toujours optimal- Peut prendre de la place sur le plan de travailJe recommande totalement ce produit.
