I needed a heavy-duty two-drawer filing cabinet for my home desk unit. As soon as it arrived, I transferred everything from the old tin-box of a filing cabinet I had used for years that would barely open or close. I enjoy the extra depth of the new drawers and that they open and close so easily. Why did I wait so long to get this? I liked the new cabinet so well, I ordered another one for the other side of my desk unit.

Not bad. Not super heavy duty but this isn’t heavy duty commercial grade. A good spot to keep your files safe and secure.

Like any other consumer I was looking for the best deal. Office Depot is selling a similar item for $199.99 and (of course) this was much cheaper. BUT, similar to other purchasers of files cabinets/furniture/large items from Amazon--will this item reach my home in one piece or without any damage. I can say absolutely IT WAS!! The file cabinet was shipped in the original box AND this seller also added foam to all corners, edges and wrapped it again in shipping wrap -- EXCELLENT and THANK YOU! I would definitely buy again from this seller.

Drawers work smoothly, the runners hold the drop file holders and the 21inch depth allows for a good number of files.

This file cabinet is really hard to beat for the money. Drawers roll with ease even when full. Sturdy lock and an all around well built file cabinet. I am very satisfied with it and so will you.

Within the first use, the ball bearings started falling out from the slide rails and the product arrived with rust on it. Some other random plastic pieces also fell out. The locks also don’t work. Very disappointed!

I was expecting a better quality cabinet. There is no lining inside the front of the drawers, so when you try to take a folder from the front of the file, it gets caught in the front of the drawer. The bottoms of the drawers are not completely flat, so files don't set properly on bottom. I'm also not happy with the adjusting mechanism used in the drawers. Most cabinets have a metal plate that can be slid back & forth to hold up files. This merely has a piece of heavy wire that goes from side to side, & you connect it in holes to hold up files. I find it often doesn't stay in place, allowing files to fall over. If you want a good cabinet, pay a little extra & get something better than this.
