Small Teaching: Everyday Lessons from the Science of Learning

I read this book as part of a campus book discussion. It is packed full of research-backed, practical techniques to improve student learning. I am using many of the ideas in my face to face classes this semester and am looking forward to applying them to my online classes as well.

Great book--I've been taking notes and referring back to it as I get ready for classes this fall. There's also a "teaching online" version done by the same author in collaboration with another super instructor/pedagogy expert, which I will take a look at soon.
