Dragonslayer (Wings of Fire: Legends)

I hate human characters in book series like this, especially this one, but boy did this book change my mind. I couldn't put it down! It was exciting and intriguing the whole way through, and I was excited for all the dragon cameos.Book came in perfect condition and fast. Would recommend!

I didn’t think I’d like this one since I had always wished humans had been left out of the series, but I loved it. It was a little slow to get into, but then I was hooked. I am way past the target age of these books, mid 50s, but they are really well written, better than many adult fantasies.

This book is very fun to read! I got this book and read it in one hour and I loved it!

Love these books. It's like water to a thirsty soul. Just ordered books 11-15. Wonderful reading!

Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter. She loved the series and is loving the Legends as well.

SPOILERS IN REVIEW!!!!I really enjoyed this book. I've been reading Wings of Fire since forever, and it was great seeing Phyrria from a new perspective. I LOVED the references to books prior in the series, like when Clay helps Leaf to the top of the cliff, Sunny searching for the Eye of Onyx, etc. Sky and Wren were so ADORABLE together!!! I laughed so loud when Wren nicknamed Deathbringer (well, the dragon that I THINK is Deathbringer) Murderbasket. All the points of views were super fascinating, but Leaf had a swishy personality and that made him hard to relate to. Another downside is (as another reviewer said): What is the climax? Basically, the characters try finding solutions to their problems, meet each other, find the answer to all their problems, and run off to yell at the Dragonslayer and the dragonmancers. I was disappointed when Violet disappears for almost half the book, since her fights with Daffodil were hilarious. I hate how people are judging how this book will turn out just because of a surprise relationship in The Poison Jungle (although one character DID have dads). Besides those problems, Dragonslayer was a great book. Keep it up, Tui!

El libro llegó en buen estado, empaquetado en una bolsa sellada sin golpes, rayas ni nada rasgado que yo haya logrado ver.Y llegó dentro de una caja (junto con otro libro que había pedido) y ambos están en buenas condiciones (por no decir perfectas).El libro en si todavía no lo he leído para opinar más al respecto. Pero como tal (el producto), como ya mencioné, me llegó tal cual lo que pedí en tiempo y forma .Y está saga de libros hasta la fecha (los 10 primeros libros que ya leí) me han parecido muy entretenidos, por lo que no dudo de este.

I suggest think twice before buying a Scholastic edition. Bought this book for my son and found the print was of poor quality - ink bleeding over to the reverse page. Plus a couple of pages were not printed (pages 195-196) causing a break in the story.

Lovved the book. It keeps you wanting to read. I like the way the chapters were set out and where it had the conecting references to the wings of fire series. Also that it was left open for a second book which I really hope there is

Arrived quickly, but cover a little damaged
