I genuinely love this mouse. At the time of the review, I had this mouse for about 4 months and had no problems. The style, functionality, and setting are great. Accuracy is pretty good, but note that the mouse is heavier than a standard computer mouse. The bottom of it is metal with the insert for the sensor and stand charging pins. Clicks feel good. Personally, I chose this mouse because of its big size and weight, as my previous mouse was a clicker that broke. The mouse will feel good in the hand of the 6-foot-tall male, and even with a fast moving does not lifts up from the mouse pad. I tend to use lower dpi, so I move the mouse more. The charge lasts for about 3-4 days with 5-8 hours of daily use(I do not charge it until it is about 10%, and I do not turn it off). When charging, I tend to turn it off, put it on the charging stand, and it takes about 1-2 hours to be charged to full. But note that for the first few days you vrist might tire out a bit, but eventually it will get you used to its weight. I love this mouse and recommend it especially for people looking for a computer mouse that is bigger and heavier then standar market ones.

The materials are high-quality with a great matte finish that doesn’t get slippery during long sessions. Buttons & Customization: 12 fully programmable buttons (including that awesome 6-button thumb cluster) are a game-changer. I mapped them for quick weapon switches, abilities, inventory, and macros — Armoury Crate makes it super easy to set up profiles. The ROG Micro Switches feel crisp and are rated for 70 million clicks, plus they’re hot-swappable. Performance: The 19,000 DPI optical sensor is pinpoint accurate with 400 IPS and 50G acceleration. Zero lag in 2.4GHz wireless mode (or wired via USB-C), and the 1000Hz polling rate keeps everything responsive. DPI on-the-scroll is a nice touch. Wireless & Battery: Dual-mode connectivity works flawlessly. The magnetic charging dock is super convenient, and battery life is excellent — I’m getting days of heavy use (up to the claimed 67 hours with RGB off). Quick charge gives you plenty of playtime fast. RGB & Extras: The multi-zone Aura Sync lighting looks sick and syncs perfectly with my setup. The scroll wheel is satisfying, and the whole package feels built to last. Value for money: It’s a premium mouse, but you get premium everything — performance, features, comfort, and that ROG quality. If you play games that benefit from extra buttons or just want a tank of a mouse that feels great in the hand, this is worth it. Highly recommend — I’m glad I picked it up. Other customers should know: it’s large and hefty (great for palm grip, might take a minute to get used to if you prefer ultralight mice), but once you dial in your settings, it’s pure joy. Very beautiful, easy to set up the buttons in armory crate software, same you use to control the lighting. More than likely you know this if you are buying this mouse because most use this mouse to complete a full rog high end build like myself. The dogle is the stand itself which I found to be pretty cool, the mouse is magnatized so not good if you plan to use on a metal desk. High dpi pole rating. It is a big and heavy mouse. Kind of like the old school mouses with the big ball on top for scrolling with. But once you get used to it and is comfortable to use and also moves smoothly like it's on a air hockey table. I really enjoy this mouse. Hope this helps.

EDITED REVIEW: All the below text still holds true, but unfortunately I will have to update this from a 5-star to a 1-star because this mouse regularly loses connectivity to the base station. Regularly a couple times per day. Absolutely horrendous to have this happen while playing essentially any video game. Very unfortunate, as I otherwise love this mouse. The base station is like 6 inches away from the mouse and it just randomly loses connectivity for about five seconds. I've never had this happen with any other piece of wireless equipment. Some other reviewers say they've ran into the same issue. It is a regular thing, every day it happens. I didn't notice it at first because I wasn't gaming much (other obligations). But for the past week I've been gaming quite a lot and have grown to hate this mouse just because of this one glaring issue. Absolutely awful, this one factor nullifies all the great things about this mouse and makes it totally useless for gaming, unless you're willing to use a wired connection...but there's no reason to pay this much for a wired mouse. I've been a PC gamer for over 20 years. This is the best mouse I've ever used, but it's not suitable for every application. Strictly speaking I would say using this mouse is not suitable for FPS or other high speed games, you'll definitely want to go with something lighter. But for every other genre, this mouse is amazing, especially MMOs. Other mice in this style overdo it I think - too many buttons, for example. Putting 12 side buttons on a mouse makes those buttons really small. I always wanted a mouse like this, that had more than 3 side buttons, but not so many that the buttons themselves were tiny. I also really appreciate the way these buttons are aligned, it's very intuitive and made sense to me right away. It's a heavy mouse. Keep that in mind. The battery life also isn't that amazing, I have to recharge it every 5-7 days or so, but that's hardly a complaint. The only other real negative is the price, but honestly....you get what you pay for. Solid build quality. Highly customizable in the software, which is also easy to use (the LEDs can be very bright, so I shut most of them off). The only thing I wish ASUS would change in the software is allowing us to keybind F13-F24, or other non-existent keys, on the mouse. Basically as it works now you have to keybind to existing keys on your keyboard/mouse. I wish we had access to "dead" keys that aren't used for anything. Other than that, this thing is a tank, all the buttons including the scroll wheel feel solid, and it fills a niche I had been wanting for so long. I really hope ASUS continues making this mouse for a long time because I'm sure I'll buy another one in the far future. Shoot, I might buy another one now and just keep it boxed up in case I ever need it. That might seem excessive, but this mouse is literally the only one in its class. There is no other mouse designed like it, that I have seen, when it comes to the arrangement/size of the side buttons. It is perfect for me, and feels so comfortable. It is a game changer (pun intended). If the price doesn't deter you, and you don't play FPS, this mouse is the one. I can't recommend it enough.

Wanted to love this mouse so badly! I went back and forth on returning it for days because I love the charging dock, the response time, the price, the quality, battery life, and the large size of this mouse. It is extremely comfortable, but I have a few complaints that resulted in its return: - Not enough buttons. Most MMO mice have up to 12 programmable buttons as most MMO's have an action bar of that size. You'll find a few that have less like ESO though. Most MMO mice have a grid pattern for their side buttons whereas this one is asymmetrical with buttons located in other places which is great if you want that. Unfortunately the Corsair Darkstar MMO Mouse also has this but more buttons to work with which is what I needed. I sadly ended up going with that mouse as I needed more function over form. - Side buttons are super low quality. The buttons move around when you push them and they have a cheap, unsatisfying click to them. I could probably look past this if the mouse had enough buttons but can't in this case and is worth mentioning. - Although very minor, this mouse is only 1000Hz versus the 2000-8000Hz that competitors offer. In the grand scheme of things, that's not going to be very noticable and would take a hit on the battery. Overall this wouldn't have swayed my decision on keeping the mouse like the two former issues but also worth mentioning for those that might want to know.

Feels good and solid. Weights a little more than other, the right amount if my opinion. So far I like it better than its rival but they are both great. I ware size xl for gloves and the spatha x fills my hand. I'm not sure what problems people have had with armory crate, I've had my asus azoth for a while and has worked well for me.

Pros: Smooth and easy to use Wide enough for long fingers DPI button is inset so it doesn't get accidentally pressed The side buttons work amazingly well and are easy to get used to It can be charged on its dock or while playing via USB-C The RGB lighting isn't too crazy Cons: Charging dock takes up extra space on desk that a typical wireless mouse doesn't The back and forward buttons for browsing are on top to the left of the left mouse button which is unusual The side button layout is awkward at first coming from a MMO mouse plus there are only 6 vs the typical 8 Final verdict: I would not buy this at full price, but whenever it's on sale if you're looking for a somewhat unique mouse with some extra buttons it fits the bill well.

O mouse é fabuloso. Já estou usando-o a várias semanas. Para quem gosta de mouses grandes. A base de carregamento é também o dongle wireless, então não é adequado para quem quer trocar rapidamente entre computadores. A bateria dura o suficiente para ate dois dias de uso moderado (configurado o modo de hibernação). Se deixar o mouse na base durante a noite, não vai acabar a bateria durante um dia inteiro de uso constante. Vem com botões extras para reparar, e aparentemente é possível abri-lo com certa facilidade. Usar o Armoury Crate, o programa de gerenciamento da Asus, é indispensável. Então considerar isso. É o mesmo usado para placa mãe Asus e outros componentes da marca. O preço é alto, mas se estiver disposto a compra-lo, é uma excelente opção. Possui 6 botões configuráveis, além dos 3 botões de clique padrão e os 2 de avançar e retornar, então são 11 botões ao total para interagir com o computador, sem contar o botão de DPI. Não é possível conectar via bluetooth. Conexão wireless é confiável, mas não flexível.

Endlich das ROC-Setup komplett und auch von der Maus bin ich begeistert, sehr hochwertig, fühlt sich gut an die Materialien und zum Glück keine gummierten Tasten! Wie einige hier schreiben, das einige Daumentasten nicht richtig auslösen, das Problem kann ich nicht bestätigen, jede Taste funktioniert wunderbar, das einzige ist, das die Daumentasten etwas leichter gehen könnten, es braucht schon viel Druck im Daumen um diese auszulösen aber das ist mein persönliches empfinden. Das ist auch das erste mal in meinen Leben, das ich nach 30 Jahren Kabelmaus ohne Kabel Zocke und was soll man sagen, es läuft einfach super, genau wie mit Kabel also ab jetzt nie wieder Kabel und die Ladestation ist auch extrem gut verarbeitet, schwer und hat sogar eine Status-LED für den Akku ... absolut Top!!!

I am a person who prefers, a heavy, well built gaming mouse. As someone with small hands I have a lot of issues with gaming mice due to not actually being able to reach the buttons on the side. But this one has the buttons further back and fits better. I can reach most of them. I think the fact you can swap out the switches is an amazing idea and I wish more people would do this. You can extend the life of the mouse by doing this. If you want a heavy well built gaming mouse this is one of the best ones ever made, it will be hard to go back to cheaper mice.

Very happy with this purchase. Great size for XL hands. Switches are satisfying to click through, particularly on top and though the side switches take some getting used to, you do adapt in time.
