I added this because I didn't want to have to power my device via the micro-usb ports and wanted those free for USB devices. This helped me do just that. The light is also helpful for knowing that it is working properly if you don't have a display connected. The one gripe I have is how large this is and how much space it takes up. Made it hard to use the GPIO ports from the bottom for my PiSugar battery. I ended up getting another but I put those on another Zero I had just because of how cool it works. You won't regret this purchase if you need a slick way to power your Zero.
