Nice design, good idea, but kibble gets stuck in between and its very hard to get it out.

商品名は「猫用おもちゃ」なんだけど、うちではチワワ用の知育トイとして活躍してます。 最初は「てんとう虫の形が可愛いし、小型犬でもいけるかな？」くらいのノリで買ったんですが、これが思った以上にハマってくれてます。 本体はてんとう虫型で、上の赤いパーツがスライドしたり回ったりして、その下からフードやおやつが出てくるタイプのトリーツゲーム。 うちのチワワは最初、「ん？ なにこれ？」って感じでクンクンするところからスタートだったんですが、ちょっとだけ手伝ってあげて仕組みを見せてあげたら、前足と鼻を上手く使ってスライドさせるコツをだんだん覚えていきました。 小型犬でも扱いやすいポイントはこんな感じです： 本体がそこまで大きくないので、チワワサイズでも怖がらずに近づける 裏面に滑り止めが付いていて、フローリングでもそこまで暴れない パーツの動きが軽すぎず重すぎずで、「ちょっと頑張れば動く」絶妙な手応え 完全に“がっつり噛んで遊ぶおもちゃ”ではなく、頭を使ってフードを取り出すタイプなので、雨の日で散歩が短くなっちゃったときとか、夜の“もう一遊び”にちょうどいい感じです。 難易度としては、 全くの初心者ワンコ：最初は人間が少しヒントを出してあげた方がいい 慣れてきたワンコ：１ゲーム数分で全部出せるようになるかも というくらいなので、「難しすぎて心折れる」より「考えながら遊べて楽しい」寄りの知育おもちゃだと思います。 一方で、犬に使うときに気をつけたほうがいいなと思った点もあります： 噛みぐせが強い子だと、プラスチックのパーツを噛み壊そうとする可能性あり 放置すると本体ごと引きずり回したりするので、必ず“人が見ている前提”で使うおもちゃ フードやおやつのサイズによっては穴から出にくいことがあるので、小粒タイプが相性◎ なので、「ひとり遊び用のおもちゃ」というよりは、飼い主がそばで見守りながら、一緒に遊ぶ知育タイム用っていうイメージが合ってます。 【良かったところ】 猫用だけど、小型犬（チワワ）でもサイズ感・構造ともに十分遊べる スライドや回転でフードを探す“頭を使う遊び”ができて、良い気分転換になる 雨の日や散歩が短い日の“プラスアルファの運動＆刺激”としてちょうどいい 底に滑り止め付きで、フローリングでもそこまで暴れない 【気になったところ】 噛み癖が強い犬種・子には、目を離すとパーツを噛み壊しそうで少し不安 完全な“放置おもちゃ”には向かない（必ず見守り前提） フードは小粒タイプじゃないと出にくいことがある 【まとめ】 「猫用って書いてあるけど、小型犬でも遊べるかな？」と思いつつ試してみた結果、 うちのチワワにはかなりヒットした知育トイでした。 がっつり壊しながら遊ぶタイプのおもちゃじゃなくて、 頭を使ってフードを探す“パズルゲーム”的な遊びをさせたい という飼い主さんには、猫・犬どちらにも候補に入れていいアイテムだと思います。 小型犬で、好奇心強め＆フードモチベ高めな子には特におすすめです。

I have a cat that inhales his food and is a real jerk. I first tried a few different slow feeders, but he literally threw a tantrum because he doesn't want to work for his food. So, I purchased this in hopes that it would be a good compromise - fairly easy access but has to work a little bit for the food - and it's perfect! I've had it for over 2 months and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. First, I love the orange color! The fish is soft and flexible, but you can hold it by one end and it will not sag which is important when carrying it filled with food! it's easy to clean with a soft brush since there are some corners that are difficult to clean. It stays where you put it and will not slide across the floor as the cat eats. It slows my boy down enough where I have yet to hear him gag because from literally inhaling his food. It will not slow a cat down as much as some slow feeders, but if you have a cat like mine, it will keep him happy and stop him from planning a counter attack on you for making him work too hard for his meal! The only thing that has been a slight issue is that two of the 'pockets' have small corners that dry food gets wedged into and impossible for the cat to get out. I have to check after every meal so that no food is caught because then I have to deal with ants! Even with that one flaw - I highly recommend this feeding mat!
