Black Ice Personal Cooling System CCX-S

These cooling collars are amazing. I get horrible heat sickness every summer. Now I buy one of these collars and an extra ice pack each year and they work miracles. While wearing these I can work outside or hang out in the sun for hours without getting miserable. They re-cool in a fridge, freezer, or even ice chest before the next one has melted enough to need replacing. They look like you’re wearing a neck brace, but any friends who teased me changed they’re kinda as soon as they tried them. They don’t usually last to be reused the next year, but I get plenty of use out of them to make it worth the money.

This review is not about the product.. it is great I own one use it to keep cool in the desert heat. This seller is using the wrong photo which led me to buy this. The photo clearly shows a two ice packs and the support collar. However what you get is a single ice pack. The price is more than from the manufacturers own website which is a rip-off. Buyer beware ! I am returning this purchase and going direct.

I like the product. I would not buy here again though. Found out after the fact it was cheaper to buy through the product website and came with extra cooling pack for same price as amazons with only one cooling pack. Don't let the picture fool you into thinking your getting two cooling packs like in picture. You will only get one. Do very much like the product. Does exactly what it says it does.

My children 12 and 14 wear giant foam Halloween costumes on a Haunted Trail called Spookville and sweat profusely when it is only 70 degrees out. This year it was 80 degrees and humid. I put four neck bands in the cooler with ice water and they "froze" or hardened up in about 20 minutes. The bands brought great relief versus the night before when they would not let me put the Black Ice Cooling bands on them. They liked them so much they shared them with a friend so I was trying to keep them recharged constantly. I did find one cooling bag was not enough for the four bands with three users. They obviously put thought into the sizing. Make sure you have one band and the spare per cooler as intended. I bought one 80 dollar kit and one 65 to save money and it was not the right choice. I should have bought both as the full kit with two coolers. It gives about an hour of cooling (don't forget I had kids in 80 degree heat wearing sweatshirts, sweatpants plus over four inches of foam. so might be a bit more taxing than average)

Happy, but it was deceiving that it came with 2 freezer replacements. It only came with 1.

I’ve owned this product ten years. As an engineer that moved south into Florida these cooling packs have enabled me to enjoy the outdoors better. Excellent quality of product. I have enjoyed gifting these to others they are so great. The recipients agree that these are very helpful.

It's ineffective.

Good at cooling me. Only stays cool about 30 minutes.
