Great light for dark eggs

Love this rechargeable egg candler. It also works good as a regular flashlight.

We've only recently started to incubate eggs, and have ordered shipped eggs for this. As such, we needed a candler not attached to our incubator to keep the fat end up. I was very happy with this one! You do need to occasionally recharge it, but that is quick and easy. It does a great job, helping even us novices see which eggs are and are not viable. I'm very happy with this purchase, and am thankful we bought it to make our incubation process so much easier. It is so much fun getting to see the life growing inside the eggs, and works great with Bantam or standard sized chicken eggs!

Works great- far superior product than egg candler that came with incubator. I hatched out very dark eggs and when using this product could see veins and movement in a dark room. Recommend this product!

Got this egg light for those times we didn't check for eggs everyday and have doubts on if it is edible. Would be awesome for watching chicks develop inside the eggs, but we don't plan on adding to our flock anytime soon- so this will be used mainly for freshness checks. It's easy to use, comes with multiple sized bases to fit different sized shells and the egg balances perfectly on the base. The light works great to illuminate the entire contents of the egg and has brought us peace of mind a few times when cracking open eggs for an omelet and discovering a 'bad' egg before cracking it open to contaminate the entire bowl. Overall, a great light for a great purpose- actually got it for the hubby for christmas and he was thrilled to have it, so it also makes a nice gift for those with birds.

Literally just got this May 30th, used to go to around my farm and candle eggs that day, it went dead on me not long after using it, and I've been fighting with it to charge ever since. The lights on the bottom that indicate charge after hours of being plugged up stop flashing like it's charged, unplug it, turn it on, 30 seconds later it shuts off, plug it in again and get the same scenario. It just will not charge up. Pretty sad actually for what it costs to only get 1 use out of it. Already have another one that's a different brand that I've had for years and it still works really well and cost half the price, but I wanted a second one so I wouldn't have to keep dragging one of them around. Completely wasted money on this one, def will not buy this brand again. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Edit: Company reached out and replaced the candler, the new one works great and holds up well as well as charges like it should. Now give a 5 star rating due to liking the candler and the great customer service.

Very bright. Works well for candling a variety of different poultry eggs. It’s much larger than other egg candlers I’ve used and seemed a little clumsy at first, however I quickly became accustomed to it. I really appreciate how well the rubberized end piece cups the end of the egg to create a good seal and support the egg during candling. I use it specifically for chicken and goose eggs. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it doesn’t hold a charge long. I have just been using it while plugged in because it dies halfway through a candling session anyway. Maybe save yourself a few $ and just buy the plug- in only version.

Just what I have expected

This is amazing! The bulb is high intensity, which illuminates the egg perfectly. Way easier than using a flashlight. It works for both bantam and regular sized eggs

I like the portability and the easy USB recharging capability. Works great.

It’s like just a light nothing special

Pretty simple. Instructions written incedibly tiny! Took a minute to realize that in order to get the small cap off, all I had to do was pull it. No instructions for this. However, it definitely does what I bought it for, it lights up the insides of eggs! I tried candling several eggs outside in the daylight. Worked great! Now to check out those eggs one of the girls has been sitting on for a while. 🥚🐓
