**Q: I'm planning on creating pavers from 4x4 pine, is this suited for this kind of application?**
A: No. This product is for sealing the ends of green wood while drying. It is a wax like consistency and would potentially be very slick in pavers. Have you considered Thompson's Water Seal or a similar product?

**Q: Can semi transparent stain be applied after applying this product on rough saw boards?**
A: End Grain Sealer is a wax emulsion that is used on just the end grain of green wood to slow the drying in this area.  The end grain is where up to 85% of drying in wood occurs.
It is meant to be a temporary application.  When the wood has dried, the End Grain Sealer will need to be removed - scrape it off and then sand it - as stains and finishes will not penetrate through it.

**Q: Is this still needed , if the fresh lumber will be kiln dried ?**
A: Based on speaking with wood/lumber professionals, yes. The wood once cut into slabs should air dry for a few months depending on species of wood until the moisture content is between 7-12%. During this air drying the ends will dry faster and possibly crack that's why you seal the ends. After air drying to a specific moisture content they are ready for the kiln.
