Works great. Helped with pain.
Have been having neck pain and doing this every few days has really been a big help. Feels kind of like you are going to pull your head off or hang yourself the first few uses, but when you get used to it, a great tool to help alleviate neck and back pain.

What I call the neck fixer!!
This definitely relieves the tension in my neck. My doctor recommended one of these due to my neck issues. I'm so happy I took his advice and bought this!!!

Don't over do it, this will help at the right pace.
Don't give up on this product. I didn't like it at first, I tried 3 times and gave up. Then 2 months later I mounted a heavy duty L bracket that extended out from the wall about 10 inches and hung it from that instead of the door method. The key is to mount the bracket at just the right height, if your off by more than a few inches you won't be able to use the full range of the device. Get a helper to mark the bracket location. Sit in your chair with the device on your head and have your helper pull it strait upwards with it secured around the L bracket temporarily, it's important to have the device adjusted so it's range of motion is at the mid way point during this set up. Then with the straps fairly tight and your helper pulling your head strait upwards, have the helper mark the wall for mounting the bracket. You will always have to use the same chair as you did when setting it up, a chair with a different height will not work. Pick a wall where a couple lag bolts holding up the bracket won't matter and pick the right chair, a kitchen chair with no seat cushion and a strait back is best. Be sure to start the traction out slow, like just a few minutes the first time and with moderate pressure and increase slowly, after you get up to 15 minutes then try increasing by 5 minute increments until you reach a length of time that fits your style and comfort level, but never try to force your way thru the pain your already feeling. If it causes pain your using to much tension, cut back on time and tension until its comfortable. You have to train your body to relax in a very particular way while the device does the work, it's hard to explain, just find what works for you. Pain from strain is not gain. This will help if you start out slow, very slow, wear this device as you would if you were putting it on your grandma's head for the first time. This information I have just shared is my suggested approach, but 65 years old with years of chronic neck pain, so if your in your 30s you could be more aggressive, "perhaps" but honestly listen to your elders. Don't be fooled by the old adage "no pain no gain" This is a journey not a quick fix. Good luck!!!

Works better than most that I’ve tried, but pulls too much on the chin
There are several reasons that I sent this back, The first reason is the design, the majority of the pull is on your chin, not the occipital area which is where cervical traction is supposed to come from. Pulling from the chin tilts your head backwards, which increases the curvature of your c-spine, which if you have an issue with your neck this is a really bad thing, and will cause more pain. When doing cervical traction the pull is supposed to come from the occipital area, this is the area on the back of your head that sticks out. However, compared to most cheaper traction devices on the market, this one is not as bad as some of the others. But for me as I have multiple issues in my neck, not just a pinched nerve, but I have permanent spasms, I did get some relief from it at first, but after the third day of using this, the muscles in the front of my neck started to get really sore, the strain of being stretched up by my chin was actually causing muscle strain, this is when I decided to send it back. It is also quite awkward to get in by yourself especially if you are in pain. You shouldn’t be using neck traction unless you have a problem in the first place, and if you have a problem then you probably have pain, and lifting your arms above your head and trying to get yourself in the right position and hook everything in and find the pulley is quite difficult when you’re in pain. It is a good price, and it does give some traction, out of the cheap options that are out there, this is probably one of the better ones, and if it’s all you can get/afford then using it carefully and in moderation would probably help.

Disappointing
I was sent an opened box with a dirty product. There was literally straw and hair in it. Didn't even try it - immediately returned it.
