I have a bunch of guitars. I play them all - mostly standing up during performances. I hate having to swap straps from guitar to guitar, so I'm on a mission to add straps to all my guitars that don't have one. I saw this no-frills, $7 strap and took a chance. Well, I just attached it to my 12 string and it's perfect. Even has a few spots on the strap to hold extra picks (although I usually have half a dozen in my pocket). I can't tell you how long it will last, but the mounts look sturdy and the strap material is definitely sturdy. I knocked it down one point for comfort, only because hey - it's a very thick, sturdy strap and the edge is a bit hard on my neck. Let's see how I feel at the end of a 3 hour evening. I feel guilty doing, it but I want to be honest. Would I buy more of these? Well, yes I would. And yes I am!!

Where to begin? Well, if you’re a guitarist, you’ve probably dropped a pick mid song at least once (or a thousand times) don’t lie... you’ve done it. I got this strap partially because I liked the idea of having quick access to a spare pick (x3) any time I need it. I also needed a cheap strap for a guitar I recently acquired but I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on it. This came in clutch. Buy this strap, seriously!

It is economical and the picks and holders are a bonus. The picks can fall out but I jam them in tight and it works for me. I don't think I could recommend them for a professional gig or for using them with a heavy Les Paul . Even if it did hold it might be uncomfortable. For light acoustics it's o.k. I would recommend using rubber strap blocks on any strap to insure a secure fit. For a budget strap they are better than most cheap straps. There are no plastic parts other than the picks. I can't give it 5 stars simply because it is a budget strap. If you have a lot of guitars and you need a strap for each one it is a good buy. Value for the money is a good way to put it.

I bought this for my 8-year old for his bass. It is a good price for a guitar strap and the fact that you can store your picks in it is awesome. He loves the idea of using a pick and he was sticking them in the strings when he wasn't playing. With a bass, this can be tedious for little fingers and there is nowhere to put the pick when using just fingers to play.

I purchased this strap for a guitar. The fact that it holds three picks is a benefit. Now, I do not have to worry about losing my picks. It is a great product, for a great deal. It is very sturdy. I do suggests adding 1-inch washers on the outside of the strap, to function as steep locks.

Cheapie strap for my cheapie beginner guitar. Exactly what I needed. A decent little strap, with low investment for a new hobby. Fine for a lightweight like mine but not really for a full size guitar. Fine for my used $80 YAMAHA but I would never put it on a really valuable guitar. WHY? It's certainly strong enough, but it is rather narrow. Heavier models would be more comfortable with a wider strap. The worst part though are the ends that fit over the buttons on the guitar. The ends are of a low quality material and are not near as secure as I would want on a much better (re: expensive) guitar. If you buy this, work the attachment point well and MAKE SURE it will stay on the button. Or add some additional rubber type grommet to make sure it will remain attached. Once secured properly the strap is fine to do the job. Plenty strong, but a heavy guitar used while standing may need a shoulder pad to be comfortable and prevent sliding on the shoulder. This one slides easily. Even with a light guitar. Actual strap width is only 2 inches.

Bought this cuz I went up for a talent show the other day and I couldn't figure out what to do with my pick before I started. I normally play this song sitting down and the intro had a finger picking part and transitions to a full on strum in the chorus, so by sitting down, I had time to pick up my pick from my desk and start strumming. When I stood up there, I fidgeted about, trying to figure out what to do with my pick and I half-joked on the mic to the crowd about how I sit down playing this song. Thankfully, one of the audience members brought up a chair for me to sit on. Ha ha! Anyway, bought this strap so I wouldn't have to deal with that ever again, and the transition from fingers to pick worked fine and now I'm ready for almost anything.

THIS GUITAR STRAP IS A LIFESAVER!!! I sometimes play acoustic sets and I tend to get very into the music and move around. The first strap I had snapped very quickly. But I saw this strap and so far, hasn't snapped on stage AND IT EVEN HOLDS MY PICKS SO I DONT HAVE TO RISK LOSING THEM WHEN I CHANGE FROM FINGERSTYLE TO PICK STRUMMING! The only thing I would say is maybe the pick holders could be a teeny bit more flexible? or maybe I just havent worn them in yet.
