never lost, but cumbersome
a little cumbersome and not all the functions work with my new TV, just the basics. I don't lose the remote anymore though!

Junk
If I could give negative stars I would. The reason I bought this was I had one for years before. Now this may be a small thing to others, but the book "pamphlet" is so thin and the type so poor it is next to unreadable. It is not me. Last time we got this item the book was at least a laminated pamphlet. Larger too. At least you could read it. How much does it cost to pint a piece of paper. I finally got the TV to work but no codes for the VCR, yes VCR I am one of those people. One thing about VHS you can drop it kick under the dresser, find it next season, blow off the dust and pop it in. Tapes have that new bookmark technology that blue-ray is bragging about. In other words it is right wear you left off amazing! For the remote itself, it got way lighter, thus way cheaper. The battery door broke in one day. (No I did not throw it across the room) maybe if I did that that a code may have woken up. I did not find any codes for the DVD player. Big surprise. Save your money. I don't know where you can find a better remote since everything is made so cheap today right down to the cars we drive. Maybe radio shack where some MAY know what you need. There is no more service these days too many Walmarts and not enough small business. I am sure I am not telling you something you already know. Well that's it. Hope it helps you not to waste your money.

Just as described and works great. Love it
I bought this cause I hated misplacing my remotes and not being able to find them, now I don't have that problem at all!!! Nice and big, and I think its a silly fun product. Everything works, I was able to program my TV very easily, comes with instruction manual which were easy to understand. It didn't have my TV manufacturer listed though, but I was able to find the code online. If it happens to reset, it's a very simple process to reprogram the remote. *Note: I didn't program anything else though, so I'm not sure if those other buttons have issues, but TV one works great. I don't use a cable box FYI

Remotely Entertaining
I picked up 2 of these giant remotes. They are high quality and very easy to program. I was able to commect them to nearly all of the video equipment that I have. I would have given this product that 5th star if it had an Audio button so that I could control my sound components as well.

Defective or too hard to program. RETURNED.
Looks like this one was either defective or simply too hard to program. I work in a Fortune 25 company overseeing 100,000+ computer workstations - I couldn't figure out how to program this thing! I bought for my Dad as the one he had previously (a Brookstone brand) finally work out after 6+ years. Going to try a different brand and see otherwise maybe try the Flipper for him.

Works on most... I think
This Jumbo was given to us as a gift and has been very good except for the Toshiba multi-region dvd player. It will not find the code for that machine. Could be the multi-region feature that it doesn't like. Tried every which way to make it work with no luck.

Funny gift
I know these remotes are probably great for people who have a hard time seeing but my husband got this for me because the kids are always loosing the remote. Everyone has just laughed at it but since it really does work its a functional gag gift heehee. The only thing we found we didn't like is there is no "captions" button so we have to go to the menu to put captions on. But no big deal.
