Flex Seal Liquid Rubber Sealant Coating, Waterproof, Clear, 32 oz

I have a 20 year old 5th wheel camper that has 2 clear plastic skylights. They started cracking around the edges about a year ago and were getting very brittle and started leaking water inside. Although I didn’t, you could’ve put your finger right through the skylights, they were so thin and weathered. The camper isn’t worth much anymore, so I wasn’t going to spend the money for new skylights. I wanted a quality clear sealant to brush on over the skylights, so it still let light in. This clear Flexseal fit the bill. After brushing 2 coats on them, they are as strong as they were when they were new. It stiffened them up tremendously and I’ve have no more leaks. I’m good for the rest of the camping season.

Flex Seal is amazing and easy to apply. I needed to waterproof my fishing boat wooden seats that were the old school of paint on them and they needed some tinder loving care to get them back to a good state. I sanded the wood seats to get a good surface first, then applied the Flex Seal. OMG after a first coat I was amazed how well it adhered to the old plywood seats! Heads up though, do the prep work first, then apply the Flex seal with a good brush with even strokes in one direction. Allow it to be done in warm clear weather as it will take awhile to fully cure. I let it dry for a full week. Amazing finish in the final result. It is waterproof now too! Love it. I used the light gray.

I used this on a steel trash can that I store bird seed in. The top had a gash in it and no matter what I did, water would get in and ruin the seed. I hated to throw it away since that was the only problem. A can of this, and the problem was solved. It's a little spendy for the amount you get which is why I removed 1 star. But there's no question it works good. My only other gripe is that it takes a long time to set up and dry. So if you can keep your project level and dry for 24 hours, that will go a long way to helping it cure. I just used a disposable paint brush to apply it and I kept the now hard brush for future applications. It's fairly durable depending on what you're trying to accomplish. I tried using it on the feet of my deck chairs hoping it would save wear and tear on my deck? Not a good idea, it just fell off after a couple of uses. But for sealing, this is a good product.

I have used this product to seal leaks in my basement. The leaks have never come back. It’s easy to apply and sries to a rubber like coating. Highly recommend for sealing cement walls.

Worth every penny. Works like a charm even on wet surfaces. Will buy again.

Expensive but very effective. Is as advertised and seen on t v. I was skeptical but other than it being kind of a one time use due to it drying out. It was great. Just make sure you use it all.

Usually a very good product - shipping however was very poor- ordered twice and canister leaked both times - more care should be taken to hen shipping liquid products

Very good product to rubberize anything that needs protection. I have a Bosch dishwasher. The gray upper and lower plastic coated racks, with the ravages of hot detergent over time, crack, exposing the steel structure of the rack areas that come into contact with the dishes. This will cause hard to remove rush stains on Corelle and ironstone dishware. To save money on replacement of this very expensive racks, I painted flex seal onto the exposed areas, and the staining has stopped. The Flexseal gray matches the Bosch plastic rack coating.

This product has fixed the leak in my fibreglass swimming pool at the moment. The ongoing test will be to see how the flexseal stands up in the long run with pool chemicals, in particular chlorine.

Not cheap but fixed hot tub liner brilliant stuff will definitely buy again and easy to use

liked it because it self levelled and easy to use .l dislike the time it takes to dry
