Best Hot Plate I’ve Used, Great for Small Spaces!
I’ve been using this Ovente double burner since December 2022 after trying out two other brands, and this is hands down the best one yet. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and is perfect for my small space, it’s been a real lifesaver. Cleaning it is super easy, which I really appreciate. Over time, it may lose a bit of its functionality (one of my burners now stays on even after I turn it off, so I just make sure to unplug it after every use). Not a big deal for me, but something to note. Also, use small-medium sized pots or pans for even cooking. All in all, it’s reliable, simple to use, and worth every penny. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs an extra cooking surface or lives in a small apartment. Great investment, highly recommend!

This one WORKS!
I tried a couple other brands/styles that were ridiculously slow to heat up. Took 20 + min to get a low boil. This guy here boils water fast! Under 10 min. I. use this in my RV to avoid the heat producing gas stove in the summertime and to have a 2nd option for cooking if propane runs out etc. Having 2 heat elements is perfect! The heat dials work great and can control the heat levels well. I have to turn it down after boiling temp to keep it from boiling over and can maintain boil at lower dial level. Heat distribution seems very good. I have used a cast iron enameled braiser and cooked evenly. I have not tried a stainless steel pan yet but cast iron does a good job at heat distribution regardless. It is also very light weight so easy to move around. Easy to store in small RV camper kitchen. Very happy with this purchase!

Affordable and working well
Works great and I really couldn’t tell the difference in cooking time between this portable unit and my free standing range with infra red burners. I’d like to do a real test soon to see how much time each unit takes to boil a pot of water. It’s super lightweight and looks durable with stainless steel top and has simple good quality dial buttons to set the temps. I used a spare metal table I had and I lined it with aluminum foil for this cooktop to sit on it’s great. Cord is long enough for a standard kitchen wall outlet. Overall I love it!

Good and compact
We bought this for an airbnb for a month which didn’t have a full kitchen and it’s working great for that purpose. It’s a little slow in heating up compared to a full size similar stove so you have to start a little before you need it. It slightly unevenly distributed as well but nothing crazy that you can’t cook well, you’ll just have to be mindful of that while cooking and keep stirring or rotating a little. I also mostly cook everything on this stove on the 4 - max setting, anything below 4 is too low for pan fry, etc. But overall works great for the purpose and fits well in a small kitchen space.

It's just not that good man
The best thing about it is the size of the burners. But I've been using this thing for weeks now and my water never even comes to a boil. The auto shut-off feature is so dumb too. Make it shut off after like an hour, not every 3 minutes while I'm in the middle of cooking. The point is to keep the temperature consistent, not bring it up then down then up down. If I were y'all, I would try and find something with a little more power.

Works great for places that you don’t have a stove
This works great. I made a mistake on not reading the review about how long it takes to boil some thing but we live full-time in a fifth wheel camper heats up great it cools down fast when you’re done with it so you don’t have to worry about accidentally burning yourself if you use it right, you won’t have an issue with it shattering like I’ve seen in some other reviews Due to operator error I just used it for the first time tonight. It’s a little slow but better to cook food than to have it too overcooked to have my first real meal after four months of having to use a microwave and a flat griddle.

Heats up nicely and looks nice. Temp holds on settings as well!
In my basement photo lab/dark room I've needed something better than candle warmers to heat the developing Chemicals. I've found the candle warmers takes over 30 minutes to get my chems up to 101 degrees. Too long. This thing worked outstanding. Plus I heated the water in glass measuring cups for an easy pour. They didn't blow up! I heated up 2 cups of room temp water on each burner individually, as well as hours apart to let everything cool down. I took some data and hopefully this would answer some project doer's questions or just let that single dude know he can make Ramen on these (I assume). hahaha! I used 2 glass measuring cups to heat the water in. I used room temp water and did each burner hours apart as to not gather questionable data. Here's the data, brand new out of the box. Data measured in MINUTES AND FERENHEIT degrees.
