Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The Seventh Year

Law and Order SVU season seven is another wonderful season of a great series. I'm a Law and Order junkie and I have almost all of the Law and Order TV shows. I'm just disappointed that the Original Law and Order series seasons 3- 15 are not available on Amazon Prime and I really hope that they become available soon. The episodes I like from Season Seven are Design, a two part episode who's second episode was on Original Law and Order season 16 episode 2. It's about a con artist who claims to have been raped to extort money from a wealthy man and leverages a deal by refusing to tell where her baby is until she gets it. Raw, about a school shooting done by a white supremacist hate group. The FBI discovers that the parents of one of the children had him murdered to collect large insurance policies that they took out on his life. Alien, is about an 8 year old Catholic school student who is bullied at school because she is being raised by lesbians. One boy in particular bullies her and makes her life miserable every chance he got. Then he cuts off her ponytail and she stabbed him in the back with the scissors, severing his spinal cord. Then an anti-gay attorney manipulates her grandparents into pressuring her into making false allegations against her mother. Infected, about poor addicts being paid by a philanthropist for sex. Until one of them gets mad and threatens to tell the world about him and he shoots her. Her son hiding in the closet identifies him, but the lawyer gets the case dismissed and the son shoots his mother's killer. Taboo, about an MIT college student who conceals her pregnancy and dumps her newborn in the trash. The SVU squad investigates and discovers 2 important things about the mother- that this is the second baby that she had and dumped in the trash and that her father is the father of her baby too. Manipulated, about a lawyer who hires a mercenary to murder 2 strippers that she thinks her husband is cheating on her with. SVU investigates and finds out that she has munchausen syndrome and is taking paralysis to keep her husband waiting on her hand and foot. Gone, about a girl who disappears after being gang raped by 3 rich kids. One kid is willing to cooperate until he disappears too. But they finally find his body and nail the other 2 kids for murders. Venom, after Fin's son Ken is found digging in a vacant lot after dark SVU investigates and discovers that Fin's ex-wife had another child who committed 2 murders. He confessed but it's ruled inadmissible. Fault, about a predator who murders 3 members of a family and abducted surviving 2 children. He kills one of them but they save the other. Fat, a girl is attacked by 2 kids for seriously beating their morbidly obese brother. Web, when a young boy is sexually abused the first suspect is his father, a convicted pedophile who sexually abused his older son. But then he is exonerated and the police find pictures of the kid being molested by his older brother online. The older brother is performing sex acts online for pedophiles in exchange for money until he is abducted and violently raped by one of his subscribers. Influence, about a bipolar girl who goes off her meds, loses her virginity to two boys in the school bathroom and then makes a false rape allegation. Then she drives up on the sidewalk and kills a girl and injured a bunch of others. A rock star who hates psychiatry hires a lawyer and tries to blame everything on her parents and psychiatrist

I got hooked on these Law & Order SVU episodes. Even though some of them are a bit disturbing, they are written so well and you never know how it will end up. The characters are very real and believable. Out of all of the "crime" shows out there these are the best in my opinion. But like I said, some of them are quite graphic and disturbing, I wouldn't let even my 13 year old watch them. But as adults it is maybe ok to think about what kind of "predators" could be out there.

I love this show and season 7 is really good. Great characters, good stories, and it is tells each of the stories really well.

I like all of the SVU episodes, they come up with some very strange stuff. Dick Wolf has a habit of cutting off the endings and leaves you wanting more and wondering. Show has run for 19 seasons now that says something. The only other series to run any where near that long other than what it spun off from was ER.

It's a consistant episode that has all the usual twists you would expect if you are familiar with the show. What makes this episode rise above others is guest star Norman Reedus. He plays a rock icon with issues about physchiatric therapy. He does an excellent job in his role and looks delicious! So it's a great episode all around for SVU fans and Norman Reedus fans alike!

I own all DVDs of this series, from Vol. 1 - 13. I highly recommend every one of them.

Rarely wind up disappointed. Episodes usually have a decent storyline but in regards to the whole series, there’s a little too much rape.

It Came Really Fast and in excellent Condition....... Great Series....... Love to Watch!
