This is my first ever drone that I bought 2 years ago and it has worked fantastically. I mainly bought it to take pictures of jobsites or check on roofs whenever there are hard to reach areas, it is very beginner friendly. Batteries a good amount of time but it also varies depending on the wind or how fast you control it. It's extremely steady and precise and takes amazing pictures with lots of features that some name brands dont have for this price point. If you are looking for a great drone for a great price then this is the one for you!!!!

Great drone for the money. It’s very easy to fly, even for beginners, and feels stable and reliable in the air. The GPS follow feature is especially cool and works really well. I also had a good experience with customer support. They were responsive and helpful. Overall, definitely worth the price.

Nice little drone! I had an issue with mine, and contacted customer service. I got through incredibly quick, and they were eager to help replace my unit at no extra charge! Which I appreciate! lol This drone takes pretty good pictures and video! I have had several drones in the past, and the quality has been far less than advertised. With this small, flimsyish camera, I was really surprised at how well they came out! The video is incredibly stable, and I’m really happy with the results! It’s a bit loud, but not overly so. I have had mini drones that were louder. I just wouldn’t use it for any top secret spy missions. The battery life is insane! The battery on the controller didn’t last as long as the drone batteries! I’m so used to only being able to fly for under 10 minutes! Between the three batteries that came with it, I was airborne for over an hour (total combined time)! As for the controller, maybe keep a USB power bank with you, and you won’t have issues. Big manual, yet easy to fly! Getting started seemed a bit confusing at first, but following the quick guide got me flying in no time at all! Be sure to read it!! For the price, it performs as well as drones more then twice what this one costs!

Over all a qualitydrone for the price point. However, the other day when attempting to fly the drone to capture job site progress photos the drone after takeoff flew off all on its own without me being able to control it. Like it had a mind of its own. Well, it hit the building and landed in water and mud. I cleaned it and tried to get it operational, but have had no luck. I have had great success with this drone and don't understand why it flew away like it did. Is there anything RUKO can do to fix it or replace it?

Update March 13, 2024: I had a glitch with my newest F11 GIM2. Firstly it was not saving all videos to the SD card and then it would not hover. It would start to swing in a very small but growing circle until I took control of it and even then, it was erratic. I took it in the house, gave it a good long look and put a fresh battery in it. I then flew a test flight when it looked like everything was okay. My mistake.... When I hit return home, it came back but it started to come down quite a distance from where it took off and with my spine fully fused, I have to listen for it when directly overhead as I cannot look up. I was in the sun and could not seen the screen on my phone. I should have stopped it where it was, laid down on the ground to see it but did not. That is my usual MO. Instead, I just let it come down and it did so, right into a tree. It got destroyed! I took full responsibility for the crash but RUKO insisted in sending me a replacement free of charge! Their custom service and their want to keep their customers happy goes above and beyond any company I have ever dealt with. Ruko rocks! Customer for life! Can't wait to see what the next newest drone is like. You can bet I'll be chomping at the bit to get it. I'm an environmental watchdog and these drones have helped my address a handful of pollution issues I could not get evidence without a drone. RUKO made it happen and this area is now being protected from industrial polluters. Thank you Ruko! Update: I bought another F11GIM2 and I wanted to comment on the new controller. The newer version that is wired and is a great improvement. Though I suggest you plug it in with the wire going up so that it does not get in the way of the axis control. Once you set your phone to default to the USB connection when connected, it is plug and play. Previously, I had to put my phone in airplane mode and not have any available wifi connections for it to connect to the drone. That issue requiring several steps is now gone. This controller has better reception too. I am monitoring an environmental issue and make the same flight regularly. Occasionally due to trees, I'd lose the connection. That is rare now. Very nice upgrade! Well done! Great drone for the cost. Picture is spectacular too... Update: Sept 6 2023: All of a sudden the date and time on my videos were all 12/31/2023 11:00 pm After working at possible corrections over a period of a couple weeks, they suggesting and I trying to find the error, they finally identified a problem with the App. The contacted me with a link to the new App version and my drone is now dating and timestamping correctly again. They were very helpful. BTW the GIM2 is a tank. I crashed it for the 1st time today and it was no worse for wear. It hit hard too. Props had a couple dings but I replaced them easily and it's like nothing happened. I was lucky I did not break one or more of the arms. I think a lesser drone would have. Very well made. Solid as a rock. Update June 8, 2023: I've had my F11GIM2 for almost 11 months. I had a small concern and emailed RUKO. I had a concern about a component of the drone system. Despite being out of warranty, they have offered a replacement of the component to put my concern to rest How can you go wrong with a company like this? 5 stars!!! The ease of set-up and flying this is beyond simple. I don't play video games so controllers in my hands are a new thing. I took to flying this drone in minutes and it has helped me greatly in checking out areas I cannot venture into do to mobility issues. It has become my eyes for places I cannot get into. Feally opened up my world. Beautiful video, easy to fly and the distance is incredible. Customer support is above and beyond if you need it. Highly recommend this drone. You get more bang for your buck than you would ever believe. Highly recommend this drone. Video attached to this review was taken June 7th, 2023. I'm watching over the progress in a quarry across from my home. Sure makes it easy to see things where I cannot go on foot... :)

**edited review 08-22-24** Pros: Out of the box a nice decent case. Drone itself is very sturdy. Camera is HD, very clear. Easy to pilot Instructions are easy to understand Battery last a long time extra props and screws Cons: Controls are laggy First flight it crashed due to one motor stuck Some of the screws mounting the propellers are missing, they were not tight. 10% of the time the camera gyroscope will get stuck and will not tilt up or down. Opinion: It’s a great start for beginners but still in the price range that I don’t want to crash and break or can’t retrieve. range is decent but with all the interferences (trees), distance may be limited to probably 500-600 meters. 60 meters above ground will give you a better range. overall, I am happy with this purchase despite the major problem I encountered. stuck motor, stuck gyroscope and lagged control transmission even at 1 meter distance. edit: one of the landing caps came off mid flight, light and board is now exposed. Waiting for response from ruko customer service. **09-14-24** customer service was excellent they are quick on response and updates. i am impressed for that i wish every customer service is like them. I also noticed that the lag has decreased and the response from the controller to the drone is faster. Must be the update. thank you very much

The New F11,wow,what a nice drone.I live on an island and i like the fact it has a good size as we get more wind here and thats a big plus if you like not loosing your drone in high winds.The build quality of the drone is also in par with Djis drones.everything it nice and tight and all very well put together.Its 4k cameras images are nice and sharp with great colour and a very smooth footage,could even use it professionally in my opinion.Flying the drone,its very responsive to stick input and is like flying a little Cadillac,i like it very much.Greatest thing of all about the F11 is that you are getting a drone of very good quality full of features and performance at a livable price,you wont get soaked with a 1400 dollar price tag like with some other drones,this one kicks butt at just over half the price.If you are looking for a drone for fun and recreation that can do it all,i recomend an F11 by Ruko.
