Definitely helps to stabilize RV steering, does it's job!
Used it to replace a very old unit on my 1992 Bounder RV. The new unit made a good improvement to the RV steering reducing the effects of cross winds, road ruts and passing or being passed by semi trucks. Makes driving the RV noticeably less stressful! You do have to do some test drives and make a couple adjustments to make sure that the unit is centered or in its neutral position when the RV is driving exactly straight but this wasn't too hard.Overall a very worthwhile addition!

Instantatly noticable
Only went for a 5 mile ride after install but seemed I instantly noticed having better control. The old stock stabilizer wasn't as strong as a screen door return, was shot. Did feel like the tires were drifting all over on trip to coast but not now. Need to make my costal run again and really check it out. Just got the motorhome and one run to the coast, loved it except the steering. It was pretty exhausting, had to focus way too much and made the trip seem longer than it really was. I'll up date after next trip but happy right now. Easy to install but have a impact for removal of front bolts on sway bar, I did and couldn't imagine not having it. I also upgraded sway bar. And Oh, they put the sticker on upside down, in photo. After putting on thousands of stickers how do you get that wrong? Lol

Absolutely works as advertised !!
I have a 33 foot Class C RV that we purchased new. The rig came with a 1" front sway bar, and a VERY undersized steering control, that did absolutely nothing for stabilizing the steering or front end on a windy day.Prior to installing this Saf-T-Plus Steering Control, it was common for the steering wheel to see-saw back and forth as we drove down the road, and that was with little to no wind. If I was driving down the highway, it was common to get a gust of wind as I approached an overpass that would nearly blow me out of my lane. Multiply that effect if a semi was passing at the same time. White knuckle driving at its finest. After installing the Saf-T-Plus along with a heavy duty Hellwig front sway bar, the front end is now solid. I can relax as I drive down the highway, with one hand on the steering wheel vs the two handed death grip that was needed before the installation. Approaching an overpass feels like a gentle nudge vs the huge shove that it used to be. Passing semi's pose no threat, either. The rig drives down the road, straight and true, with no see-sawing on the steering wheel. If I had to compare how the RV drives after the Saf-T-Plus and sway bar installation, it feels like I'm driving my pick up truck. And that was in a 20 to 25 MPH side wind.RV manufacturers know what these rigs are like to drive, and they continue to shove them out the door as fast as they can. Saf-T-plus and the heavy duty sway bar should be standard equipment from the manufacturer. Some of the best money I ever spent !!!

Put one on a 1972 P30 Chevy -- worked great
I had installed on of these on a older Class C many years ago. I see that it has not changed, same device and still expensive. I ordered this for a new 2022 Class C Forest River Sunseeker -- Ford 2021, cutaway chassis, with the new, 7.3 V8 engine. Be advised, you will have to purchase mounting hardware. It is a bit deceiving to read that everything you need to install is included -- IT IS NOT. Nearly $80, more, later and now I can install it. I also was installing a Front Sway Bar, so it was a prefect time to install the Safe-T-Plus mounting bracket, as it mounts to the frame under the sway bar frame support. The mounting bracket fit perfectely, no grinding or alterations, it sat right into the Frame slot and the Sway Bar bushing mount matched up, right over it, with the bolts for the Bussing Cup, holding both in solid to the frame. Now I can take my time in finishing the install. I want to run this RV without the Sate-t-Plus for a bit, to see and feel the difference in adding the Roadmaster Sway Bar alone, then add the Safe-t-plus later, but the hard part is done -- Whew. Just for your info -- the Roadmaster Sway Bar, both Front and Rear, for this 2022 Sunseeker, Ford Chassis -- Front model: 1139-176 and Rear: 1139-147. These are perfect fit for 2022 Sunseeker with the 2021 Ford Cutaway chassis with the new 7.3 V8 E350 -- These are the same numbers for the E450. Hope this helps anyone else thinking about doing this same kind of upgrade. Also, and other point of interest, at least for me and my location -- I chickened out in installing these upgrades, you know, bad knee and all. So, I called around to the only two shops in my vicinity, that could do this kind of work. One said they could not get to it for, maybe, 3 months out. The second place said they don't install owner parts. I pulled up my man pants and got after it. Be advised, all of the mounting bolts are Metric, two most improtant sizes? 15mm 18mm wrenches and sockets and maybe a 19mm wrench -- if the link bolt truns you will need the 19 mm wrench to hold it while spinning the nut off. I had a 1/2 breaker bar, need for only two bolts, the 18mm bushing cup mounting bolts, they turn hard but with patience they will come out. I ran the front wheels up on stackable lego blocks, about 3", then everything was pretty easy to get to. Took around 1.5 hours to finish. One final note -- some instrucitons say thing like, "be sure to take the load off", like, jacking up and using jack stands, etc. Don't bother with that, it is nonsense for this install. It is much, much safer to run the front wheels up onto blocks, set the brake and block the wheels, no shaking jack stands. There is no load on the sway-bars, at least, not on this chassis. Good luck
