Replaced old plastic rotating latch which easily broke, this unit is robust, easy to install alternative and has worked well since fitted.

I liked how easy this was to install, with the exception that one of the screws lost its head to easily, or maybe I was too enthusiastic with the screwdriver. Either way I needed to replace it with another screw to finish the job.Not installed in my attic latch, it serves it purpose and appears secure. I am tempted to buy a second for extra security. But it seems well made but 4 stars rather than 5 becuase of the quality of the supplied screws.

Our existing loft hatch had one of those push latches, which meant every time we had to open it the paintwork ended up getting scratched or having grubby finger prints all over it.I've just finished redecorating my landing and after spending an hour meticulously painting the loft hatch I didn't want it getting scratched up again the first time I needed to go up there. I saw this latch and it looked ideal.I had it fitted in 5 minutes, just a quick measure and 4 screws. Now I can just pull the latch back and the hatch drops down and pushing it up just clicks into place. Simple design, simple life and no more scatches!

Fitted to the main drop door for the loft ladders - works a treat! Feels sturdy & clicks shut when pushing the door back up. Easy to install & operate.

Does what I purchased it for and it works well.
