16 ohms is no problem, but its output power will be smaller.

Can you control volume with the phone?

Volume control on both the amp and phone I just turn amp all the way up and then use my phone to control It

Can the negative speaker wires be connected together? I’m trying to replace a cassette player in a boom box and the wire from the head has 3 wires

Stereo input; 3 wire - 2+ / 1-. Stereo speaker output; 4 wire - 2+ / 2-. Do not use a common ground for speaker output, it won't work. A cassette player plugs into an amplifier, do not plug an amplifiers output into another amplifiers input.

Can this be Bridged to use for a single mono speaker?
