AIRCAST A60 Ankle Support Brace - Ankle Sprain, Chronic Instability, Stabilising Sports Support for Protection and Prevention. Size Medium, Left, Black

Bought to help recover from a really bad ankle sprain. I fell from height onto loose cobbles and managed to give myself a nasty eversion sprain. I now can only walk any distance with a walking stick. Sizing:- I have normal width size 8 feet. These fit perfectly (I bought the lest medium size). I am 5ft10” 90kg so have fairly substantial (gorgeous looking though) calves and still have room in the brace. Pros:- I tried another expensive lace up brace and this is better for fit and effectiveness. The lace up ones are probably better for prevention rather than a cure in my opinion. This one gives good support and stops excessive rotation on the joint. It’s fairly comfortable. I have worn it under lightweight leather walking boots as well as normal shoes. It certainly helps with pain relief and extends my walking range by at least double. It’s also easy to put on. Seems to be made from good quality materials. Cons:- it can rub above your ankle if you are too active in it but it’s not awful. This is affected by what shoes you wear and what activity you are doing with it so you can’t really blame the brace. If I lost it I would buy another

Recommended by an orthopaedic colleague after my sturup splint fell apart in the heat (the velcro glue all melted). This splint is lightweight and very effective. It enables me to wear more than one pair of shoes. I am post a lower leg break and initially the break zone was sore but it settles. owing to the very hot weather recently I bought a pack of cheap tubigrip and cut into sections to wear under the splint to keep it clean and stop the seams from rubbing my skin. I would highly recommend this splint. Only disappointment was paying for express delivery and expecting it the next day,only for the company to sent it via a courier the next working day which was three days later after the weekend. Had they put it with the Royal Mail next day it would have arrived quicker.

Fits well, immobilisers and stabilises ankle, does not restrict walking in any way. Does a fab job.

Getting old means joints get worn out, I was struggling with mobility whist playing tennis and hiking, bought one for weakest ankle and then immediately the other to restore balance. A bit pricey for a brace but wouldn’t be without them. Certainly restored my confidence in running around the court.

I was recommended this by my NHS physiotherapist. I ordered my shoe size 6.5 - 8, but when it came, I couldn't comfortably fasten it around my ankle. ( I recently broke my ankle, so needed support after having my cast/ boot removed) As you can see in the video/ photos, the velcro doesn't meet. It doesn't go to the end of the material. I just thought, I'll order the next size. I went to refund and it immediately came up that I couldn't get a replacement or refund and directed me to terms and conditions. I still couldn't work out why I couldn't have a refund, I was just going around in circles. It cost £49.95! I still don't know! I had to contact Amazon, who were very helpful. So beware.

I purchased the product to replace a previous in same size and was definitely a full size too small, so was returned. It was from a different supplier. The product itself when it is the correct size is fantastic for an ankle that needs support. I have worn through 2 in recent years. Easy to put on and off, and once on and playing don’t realise it’s there and can play with confidence.

Extremely effective and comfortable. Wearing a shoe over it is very easy. But, surprisingly difficult to obtain a brace for the "left foot". The entire website contained the brace for the "right foot" only. Took me a week of searching before i got lucky.

Durante algunos meses busqué una tobillera con suporte para el tobillo, me decidí por esta y la verdad me pareció muy buena, sencilla de poner, , muy cómoda para la práctica de basquetbol, pero sobre todo sentí un gran acomodo en el tobillo, no molesta para nada y me da mucha seguridad para los movimientos.

DO NOT BUY!!! Sizing is incorrect. You can't return the item. They refuse to provide a seller's invoice to submit for insurance. I just threw $75 in the trash because I can't wear it as it's way too small and NO RETURNS!! I'm beyond angry about this. Aircast is supposed to be reputable?? These people have stolen from me.

Muy buena férula! Mucho más cómoda que la típica de las bolsas de aire y cumple perfectamente con la función de inmovilizar del tobillo sin ser tan grueso o estorboso. No maltratas tus zapatos!
