Works Quite Well
My old Kioti diesel tractor originally used gravity to feed the injection pump with fuel, and so if I was climbing a steep incline, the tractor would lose power or even stall if the fuel wasn't topped off. It also had less power and idled slower when the tank wasn't full, even on level ground. Installed this as a solution and I'm very happy with the results so far. Tractor idles at a slightly higher RPM no matter what the tank level is and doesn't drop off when facing uphill any more. The max RPM is higher as well. These Bosch/Zexel style pumps do not create any suction so they are wholly dependent on whatever fuel pressure they're supplied with when they run. Gravity feed just won't cut it when working on an incline. This pump gives consistent performance no matter the tank level or incline. To those negative reviews trying to use this as a transfer pump: this is not a transfer pump and will not work well as a transfer pump. It's a relatively low volume low pressure pump to supply fuel to an engine. Also, advice on installation: you want to put this as close to the fuel tank as possible and low. If installed on a car, put it right after the tank and mount it below the tank if you can. I know from past experience with this style pump that they tend to burn out quickly if mounted high or a long distance from the tank like up inside the engine compartment. They like to push fuel rather than pull. They will generate a suction, but I believe they will be damaged due to cavitation if they run like that for any length of time. As you can see in the picture mine's mounted about 6-8 inches below the tank and pushes the fuel back uphill 8-10 inches into the injection pump. This is ideal.

Oil came out when i first used it (died after 1 day still working but no fuel coming out)
Seems to work good for what it is, make sure you run a little gas through it to clear the oil out mine had quite a bit of oil in it for whatever reason, definitely don't want that reaching the carburetor or fuel injectors so flush it by using it for a minute or two before you use it on your primary application. i cannot attest to the longevity of the pump but fingers crossed.dont buy it it quit working

To strong it pump my Honda reflex 250 carburetor to hard and floods out the motor
Stronger than they say it is to high of pressure for a carburetored motor

Cheap and functional.
Good bang for the dollar.

Pressure output
2.5-4 psi? Mine jumped to 7.2 psi on the gauge. Had to raise the float level to compensate for the high fuel pressure
