ThomastikInfeld Cello Strings (S32)

I ordered a G string and a C string and when I opened up the package, the paper cases of the strings were completely unsealed, wrinkled, even torn a little bit. Also the end of the strings were not twisted. Although they had no sign of being used (bridge mark, rolled end of string by peg and) and had some dust you can usually find on a new string, it was really displeasing to see this kind of bad packing quality. It seems that somebody returned it without using it.

We are really disappointed!We wanted to buy a set of strings. Nowhere in this item did it say that it is only the G string. I realize now that it doesn’t say set either but feel that this item is misleading.We have no recourse since we live in South Africa, where we can’t buy decent cello strings, and had a friend bring it for us from the USA.

The string inside this Spirocore envelope was not a red-wound Spirocore string, but a blue-wound Jargar string.

Resonant, deep, rich, bright, focused - I realize some of these adjectives are mutually exclusive in strings, but somehow, they converged in this string!
