GasOne 2109-RED 4 ft High Pressure 0-20 PSI Adjustable Regulator with Red QCC-1 Type Hose-Works with Newer U.S. Propane Tanks

Just what I needed for my grill. I've had several of the other kind, with the built-in pressure regulator set to a permenant flow-rate. But those have all failed within 1 summer of use. So, this time, in my search for the same type of hose, I came across this one. My initial thoughts were that those other hoses had failed at that control point. Since this hose had an adjustable control instead, it would allow for me to set that instead of it being permanently done for me. Eventually, the the fail point of all the old hoses was that they would essentially restrict all gas output to nothing. Which was infuriating when I would go to use my grill to cook but it wouldn't light anymore. Even tho I had full propane tanks.I've installed the GasOne Adjustable Regulator hose on my grill & have used it a couple times. I figured out what flow-rate I wanted by setting the highest output my grill controls allowed. Then adjusting the output of the regulator on the hose to fit the flame height to where it should be. So far, I love it! It functions just like the old ones but now I control the flow. I hope it doesn't fail like all my others.The other reason I bought it was for the extra hose length. I always turn off my propane at the tank after I'm done grilling. But the hose was was always to short to keep it outside the grill. This one, with the 4 ft of length, made it possible to keep the tank in a much more accessible area.I wish I had tried the longer hose lengths before, but at least with this one I get the benefit of the adjustable regulator & the extra hose length.

OK so as per usual with your average grill that cost a few hundred bucks no matter what the manufacturer after about two seasons I started to lack gas flow into the grill area. I started to dissect the grill in every way possible leading from the gas line all the way to the gas outputs. Took me some time and I didn’t want to do it and it ended up being quite the hassle but after I was done I did manage to get better gas flow. However it didn’t take any more than a couple of uses before everything turned backwards on me. When I thought that it could be the regulator I decided to look online to see how much it would cost to replace it. What I liked about this particular one is that it had a valve to control the gas flow through the regulator. That to me is a big win. Today I decided to take the old regulator off and pop the new one in which took me all of 60 seconds And my problem was immediately fixed. Not only was the gas flow phenomenal but because it has a valve on the regulator you can increase and decrease the gas flow to and from the grill which is a phenomenal option. Works great didn’t know settings flame can get out of control would buy again

This is awesome and the best way to make propane grills cook like a restaurant quality flame broiler grill . Adjustable flame high or low.. I'll never use the regulator that comes with the grill again..We like Pittsburgh Char ribeye steaks (char outside rare inside) and we're about to adjust this regulator to give us a high enough flame to do that 🔥Dont settle for low flame grills anyone.

Fits my outdoor wok as the regulator that came with it developed a leak in the diaphragm. Standard pressure regulators (11" WC) would barely light it.
