Can you freeze the nduja sausage?** A: Hi! It can be frozen. But if you want to keep it, I recommend putting it in a glass jar with olive oil. regards. **Q: I expected it to be spicy as all nduja is . But there is no heat at all why is this ? Thoroughly disappointed** A: I find it spicy, I think the flavour is nicer and seems spicier when it's at room temperature rather than from the fridge 🙂 **Q: How long will this last once opened and how should it be stored once opened?** A: I’ve had nduja before and it lasts for months in the fridge. This one is still going after 2 weeks. This has a skin around it and it comes in a plastic pouch (actually you get 2 plastic pouches). My mate is still using one he opened in The beginning of September. So I just slice a cm off and keep the remainder in the skin and pouch in the fridge. I think it will easily last 6 weeks. **Q: My delivery was not refrigerated, will the nduja still be ok?** A: I’m not a food safety expert but instructions say store cool and dry rather than refrigerated. Never tried it before and unsure of how hot/ spicy it would be. Pleasantly surprised when tasted. A soft texture, a warm fruity taste. I added to the dish and was cooked in that dish The flavours leached into the dish along with the oils and it was delicious My wife doesn’t do chilli hot and she said the heat in the dish was enjoyable but tasting it on its own was a little too hot.
