1/2“ C X C Slip No Stop Coupling Sweat Solder Copper Fitting

These are of excellent quality, ive never had one fail on me or hive me any problems. Just prepare the copper like normal and you won't have any issues. I've purchased from this vendor before and always get good quality products from them. I've had tons of these installed for years now and never a leak.

I used these to make a homemade stain using copper, distilled white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. The result was fantastic!

I placed the copper fittings in my outdoor water feature and they prevent algae from growing :)

For all you pool owners out there … I tied these on a loop of parachute cord and Placed them in the skimmer basket. I had heard that the copper could fight the formation of green algae. It seems to be working very well.

It's a copper coupling. What can go wrong? It sweated on with a normal propane torch which I was unsure would have enough heat

This was sold as 1.25” i.d. which is what I need. It actually says 1 1/4” on the label in the photos. This is 1.5” o.d. and 1.35-1.40” i.d. That makes it worthless to me and I’ll be returning it. Edit: Still worthless to me. But, yes, I get that what it meant was that the side of this connector is meant to go over a pipe that is, itself 1.25” i.d. The page on Amazon says this is a commonly returned item. I expect a plumber knows this is a coupling meant to go over 1.25” copper pipe (which makes this 1 and 3/8” i.d.). An accurate description that doesn’t rely on prior knowledge would help people find what they are looking for without the frustration and cost of unnecessary deliveries and returns.

How come this simple and time/money saving item can't be found in our canadian stores anymore (Home depot, Canadian tire, Rona-Lowes, BMR) ? It did the job perfectly. I am very satisfied.

These couplings solved a water pipe repair issue where I was unable to bend the pipe to get on couplings. I simply cut a piece of pipe to fit exact, placed these couplings all the way onto the pipe and then slid them over the joints.when put in place. Worked better than expected. Perfect for 3/4" copper pipe.

Couldn't find these couplers (without a stop) in stock at any of the box, hardware or plumbing supply stores in Guelph. Used to be a very common item, but now with PEX installations being so common, I guess copper tubing use is fading.... So glad to find it on Amazon. Shipped from Calgary, but arrived in 2 days, free shipping with Prime. Should have given up searching locally earlier. And the price was less than I could have found locally even if they were in stock.
