This is a really nice knife, with a good wooden handle that looks like it'll last many years. It does a great job of going after those pesky bot fly eggs.

Great tool for getting rid of bots on horses.

Good and sharp, easy to use

Perfect for our horse, works well and is holding up nicely - still looks like new. We added a coat of polyurethane varnish to the handle for added durability, before tossing it into our tack chest.

Badly designed. The handle isn't curved to fit the shape of the hand. My husband had to re-carve it to be usable. It also isn't sharp enough to easily remove the eggs. Can't sharpen it. Have to go over the area many times. My old plastic handled bot knife does a better job. I ordered 2 knives, but only 1 arrived.

Nice heavy construction. Sharp blade removed eggs easily. There are cheaper, but, you get what you pay for! Makes a crummy job easier!

I've used many a dull bot knife where you have to work at getting the eggs off. Not this one! I'll never buy another brand after using this one. The pretty wooden handle was a nice touch. Only wish they made a left-handed one as well.

I ordered this for removal of bots from my horses legs. It removes them much better than cheaper, similar tools. I am happy with this purchase.
