I’ve been really impressed with the CAHAYA Mic Stand Tripod Boom Arm. The first thing that stood out was the size; it has a compact footprint when folded but extends tall enough for just about any recording or performance setup. The length of the boom arm gives plenty of reach without feeling flimsy, and it locks solidly in place. In terms of quality, it feels well-built for the price; the tubing is sturdy metal, the joints don’t wobble, and the tightening knobs actually hold firm instead of slipping after a few uses (which is more than I can say for a lot of budget stands). The hold is excellent. Once you’ve positioned your mic, it stays exactly where you put it. Even with a heavier condenser mic, there’s no sagging or slow droop over time. Finally, the look; clean, professional, and minimal. The matte black finish fits perfectly in both my home studio and my living room setup. It doesn’t scream “budget stand,” and honestly, it feels like something that should cost more. Overall, a great combination of stability, reach, and design. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable mic stand without spending a fortune.

Really happy with this mic stand. Really a necessity so you get best sound. Positions where you need it but also cuts out vibrations that you get if it were sitting on your desk or etc. Holds cables in little handy clips and several nobs to adjust and position exactly where you need it. Different attachments for different mics which worked perfectly for mine and my buddoes so very versatile. Good quality. I didn't get it when I bought my microphone because I really didn't think it was necessary. But then kept getting clicks and clacks and every shake of my desk while trying to record audiobooks for my daughter. I finally figured I would try one and I absolutely love it.

I Play with Buddies at our Weekly Jam session and standard Microphone stands do not telescope down to a manageable size, awkward for transport. The Airturn company has one, without the boom arm. @$59, another $19.99 for the boom arm. Probably very well made and worth the $80. It telescopes down to 16 1/2" I think without the boom attached. Pretty good. This one, however, comes with the boom arm for about $ 25. It has some good weight, 3lbs 4 oz, and folds down to 29' with the boom and mic holder attached. It sets up quickly and is sturdy enough with my mic attached and fully extended.( Be sure to place one leg towards you for stability. ) The locking knobs/screws could be heftier, but are adequate. The bag included is for the sections removed and is not long enough to fit the fully assembled stand with the boom arm ready to deploy, so I sewed up a nother bag for transport. All in All, IMO, it is a good, budget stand, stable even when the mic is fully entended, and will serve the I'm "going to Jam" purposes. Keep on strumming! 8-})

For the $25 price I was a little bit skeptical, but I am not disappointed. It is very adjustable, that's why there are so many knobs to set angle and adjust height. Adjust from a tall speaker standing to a person seated in a chair. It telescopes into a small package, and comes with a heavy duty nylon carry bag with hook and loop closure and a loop handle. It comes with two sizes of microphone clip, both adjustable. One is flexible plastic to accommodate different diameters, and a spring-loaded "clothes pin" style with a wide size range. The tubes that telescope within one another do not have a mechanical stop, so they will pop apart. But, they are easy to put back together. The stand is very lightweight if load in and load out weight is a concern.

I'm not a pro audio engineer so I don't want to spend a lot of money on equipment as a novice. I really appreciate CAHAYA offering these stands at such a low price. I've purchased two so far along with a table top stand. I find them morer than adequate as mic stands and very verstile. I have used them for more than just holding mics. My only criticism, and it's minor one, is that a couple of the clips that hold the cables don't hold on securely enough. But a simple hook-n-loop cable tie takes care of that.

I love this mic stand it’s adjustable and easy to assemble it’s sturdy and it sounds great perfect for my room.

Very tippy if you use it like the photo and the bottom will not adjust low enough to make it more stable. If you are looking for a straight up mic stand it works fine but if used like the picture do not recommend. The product came in good condition but without instructions and a very damaged box inside a different box. Maybe that was a turned one but it was quite strange. Took quite a long time to understand setting up but got it eventually.

Let's be HONEST. It's 30$, and you get exactly what you pay for. Let's start with what it isn't. It's not the greatest quality wise. It's not incredibly sturdy. In no way shape or form is it in any way remarkable or exceptional. BUT. It is ridiculously portable. This thing fits in the front pocket of my little Martins gigbag WITH my loop pedal and guitar stand at the same time. It is sturdy enough. It will hold up for exactly what I need it to hold up for. My use case? I do a lot of very small background gigs (compare them to busking, essentially). I run a compact battery powered pa, with a battery powered looper, and a collapsible guitar stand. So I wanted a mic stand that I could throw into something I was already carrying and free up a hand, while avoiding the awkward penguin walks from the car to the gig due to carrying 2 things on my shoulder. I don't take the mic on and off the stand. I'm not thrashing around bumping my stand every 2 seconds or constantly adjusting it. I simply set and forget my entire station, and that's all I need it to do. And for that reason it does exactly what I need it to do. It doesn't drift down and I don't have to worry about it toppling over all on its own. This isn't your every day carry venue mic stand. But a great addition to your portable arsenal of space is occasionally a constraint. Overall, it's everything I need it to be with exactly 0 downfalls in any regards to me specifically. 30$ well spent. I'll probably pick up a second just to have a mobile rig ready to go at all times.
