Studio 3 Replacement Headband, Top Arch Band Compatible with Beats Studio 3.0 Wireless Headphones (Model A1914) / Repair Kit Included

(QUICK REVIEW ) Perfect fit, nice color, official beats replacement piece. No issues at all. Easy installation. Provided all pieces needed! (DETAILED REVIEW) I constantly used my beats headphones while at work, gym, and outside activities. I always carried it in the case when not in use. As time went on, folding the headphones caused one of the headband clips to break. There goes the resistance of the band. I tried the OG way with hot glue and electric tape. It lasted 2 weeks and that was it. Was considering buying whole new set of beats, until I checked my account! This forced me to do research and I found out the problem was a simple headband replacement. Thankfully I did because it looks and works as if it was brand new. Ten out of ten recommend!

When one end of my Beats ear cup was bent in an awkward way, I searched online on how to fix it. When when I saw that there were replacement parts for my Beats and that it was easy to fix. Searching on Amazon, I found the right part and when I received it, set about to repair it myself. I will say that for the most part, this was an easy fix albeit frustrating at times. This headband was the perfect replacement. First off, don't use the screws included with the headband. You don't need them. Use the four screws from the one you're replacing as they are a tad longer and that's important. The other very important thing you need to know is NOT TO TIGHTEN the screws all the way in! If you do, you'll have a heck of a time putting in the cushion. Instead, screw the four bolts only halfway, giving you some room to fit that cushion in. It's hard to explain. You'll have to take my word for it. My headset is like brand new now. I was even able to peel off the old DecalGirl sticker and affix to the new band with no issues. This is a solid buy. Just be patient during the install and you'll be find.

I’m taking away one star because I’m the photo, the lettering is in gold (to match the color scheme of the headphones) but when it arrived the lettering was grey. My nephew had a pair of Studio Pros taped together and gave to me. Beats may sound great but they are a complete waste of money due to how fragile they are. Anyway, I swapped out the headband (which honestly was quite challenging). They work flawlessly now with the exception of not being the color advertised. I recommend having another person help you (an extra hand basically) as it will be frustrating trying to manipulate 3 moving places and aligning all 3 with 2 hands. 😜

This replacement exceeded my expectations! I am glad I purchased it! I was skeptical on the purchase about it maybe feeling too cheap or not fitting all gaps properly, but it hit all those on the nail! I am a bit saddened that the pictures didn't show if the titanium color had the "Beats" logo on it so I jad opted to get the black one with gold lettering causing my beats to no longer match color. But for the purposes of repairing my product it got the job done! I do also like that they gave an exact repair screw driver and extra screws! However, I just reused my OEM screws as those were still in good shape. I recommend this product for sure!

I bought this particular variant of the Beats Studio3 band replacement because it said it was "Shadow Gray", despite the fact that this would take a week longer to arrive (and a week longer to even ship) than a similar black+gold replacement. And, the box I received did indeed say "Shadow Gray" on the outside of the box. However, when I opened the box up I noticed it was black with gold "beats" lettering, instead of shadow gray with black "beats" lettering as advertised. I can't go another two weeks without these headphones (I use them for work, and airpods are just not something I can wear 8+ hours a day), so installed this product despite the result being a subtly mismatched color. Five screws nd a little screwdriver were supplied, in addition to of course the option of reusing the factory screws (although in my headphones it seems the factory had slightly stripped the screw heads to the point that they were not easy to remove), so there is some "forgiveness" if you fumble-finger a screw to the floor. Would have been nice if there was replacement tape for the "inner/padding" side piece (which is NOT included in this kit), as that pulled off on one side and ended up as a crumpled tape ball. The original inner piece snapped on securely so I'm not sure the tape was really necessary in the first place, but it would be nice if it were possible to end up "like new" after this replacement instead of "probably as good". Would also have been nice, given the minuscule size of the screws, were the supplied screwdriver to have been magnetized; I instead used my own magnetized precision screwdriver to keep the screws in place while assembling. The product itself seems to be good quality. There were no instructions for how to remove the old band, nor how to reassemble, but I was able to figure it out easily enough. Once installed, looks exactly like the original, except for the aforementioned color difference. Pluses: * Good quality replacement * Screws included to replace those removed from the old band completely, plus a backup spare * Included screwdriver "works" Minuses: * Wrong color of band and print clashes with the shadow gray headphones * No instructions * Cannot replace band if "inner" plastic piece is broken (but that isn't a part of the hinge, so seems unlikely to break) * Also cannot replace worn out padding or padding cover (these are not included at all, just the upper/outer plastic band part) * No replacement tape provided (but inner plastic piece seems to securely snap in place; why does Beats have tape there from the factory?) * Screwdriver included isn't magnetized, so if you have normal-sized or fat fingers make sure you have a tiny star-head precision screwdriver that is magnetized or a screwdriver magnetizer Three stars, mostly because the color doesn't match the advertised color.
