I bought this light for my planted aquarium and overall I really like it. It’s bright, looks nice on the tank, and the clip-on design was perfect for my rimless tank without taking up a bunch of space. My biggest complaint is that the timer/settings were not very intuitive at first. I definitely had to play around with the buttons and figure out the 6-hour and 24/7 modes because the instructions could be clearer. Once you understand how it works though, it’s really convenient. My live plants look great under it so far and I also like being able to adjust the brightness instead of having the light at full power all day. For the price, I’m happy with it and would buy it again. I’d just recommend reading through the timer instructions before throwing the box away like most of us do 😂

I have only been using this light for a short time, but I’m very impressed so far. It was easy to install, feels well made, and the clip holds securely to the tank. The different lighting modes and automatic 24/7 cycle are a great feature, and the brightness really brings out the colors of my fish and plants. The timer works exactly as expected, so I don’t have to worry about turning the light on and off every day. Overall, it’s a great value, and based on my experience so far, I’d definitely recommend it.

Highly recommend this! It was a great price! I originally got a cheap Chinese made light that broke down right away and then I bought this one again because I had another one running straight for about two years and it works as if new still so I went ahead and bought this for my tank so far It has worked perfectly. It is just the right amount of Watts for all of my live aquarium plants and they grow just fine. It is so very easy to use and the clip on for the tank is very solid. I love how you can slide it to fit the length of the tank, I repeat: very good price for the quality and very easy to use!!!

I've been very happy with the hygger Clip-On 24/7 Aquarium LED Light. The lighting is bright, the colors look great, and the built-in 24/7 cycle gives my aquarium a natural sunrise, daylight, sunset, and moonlight effect. My plants and fish look fantastic under this light, and the clip-on design makes it easy to install and adjust. The only downside I've experienced is after a power outage. Instead of remembering the programmed settings, the light resets to a bright daylight mode and has to be manually reprogrammed. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can be inconvenient if you experience frequent power interruptions or are away from home. Overall, it's an excellent aquarium light with impressive features and great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it—just be aware that you'll need to reset the timer after a power outage.

This light is great! it’s light weight and the timer option is so useful! the color options on this tank are beautiful and i like how i can adjust the brightness. i would say, the way you connect the light to the clip, it seems a little unsteady. it stays, but i would be careful so it doesn’t get knocked off. otherwise, great light and i recommend! (this tank is currently being cycled and does not have a fish in it)

So far it’s 5 stars. The 24/7 function on the light is perfect. No need for a crappy mechanical timer on the power strip. This does it all. Full brightness control and colors change if you didn’t want to use the 24/7 function. With the full spectrum, i’ve noticed my java moss take off and is now starting to grow after just a week. The only thing i will say is the clip isn’t made of steel so it’s not going to withstand a child smacking it(not like the glass aquarium would either) or a cat walking into it(i think a cat would then fall in your tank). Essentially just don’t hit the light after mounting it.

A light so nice I bought it twice! Seriously, I am in love with the daylight cycle timer that comes with this light. The light fits a little loose on my tank set up - but that it’s my tanks issue not the light. Even with my thick rim that doesn’t actually give the light quite enough room to attach, it still fits nice and securely. I also don’t know how bright this light was rated to be, but I found that at the strongest setting it provided enough light for my bright indirect light requirement plants but not quite enough for my bright direct sunglight plants. So I would say, it’s good for 90% of aquarium plants. My Java ferns and anubias have grown a lot from the time I bought the first light, but the Amazon sword has been a little sad. Still! It’s so nice. And convenient, and so helpful that I bought a second one to get more coverage on my very long tank (I should have bought two in the first place). I highly recommend this light!

I have many products from hygger and absolutely love them! I just replaced the light on my 10 gallon with this one so I could take the lid off so my giant duck weed doesnt melt! The light is super sturdy and so easy to put together! The bracket is super easy to screw on the tank! Side note: The light slides onto the bracket. I seen a couple comments stating that the light seemed a little unsteady and tilts on the braket, but I can tell its because it wasnt slide on (only hooked), correctly by the picture!!

I’ve used a few aquarium lights with similar controls before, and this hygger one is by far the easiest to operate out of all of them. The interface is straightforward, and once you set it up, it’s very consistent day to day without needing constant adjustments. I’m running this on a smaller tank, and it’s been more than enough for low-light plants like cryptocoryne (crypts). They’ve grown in well and stayed healthy under this light, so for anyone doing a low to moderate light setup, it gets the job done. The images were taken pre early, so the light shown in tank is not the brightest time of the 24hr timer setting. The built-in timer and different lighting modes are also nice. The automatic day/night cycle adds a natural look to the tank, and I didn’t have to mess around too much to get something that looks good. Installation was simple, and the clip-on design feels secure on the tank. Brightness is adjustable, which helps if you’re trying to fine-tune things for your livestock and plants. No real issues after using it for a while. It’s been reliable and easy to use, which is honestly what I was looking for. Overall, solid option if you want a beginner-friendly or low-maintenance aquarium light that still supports plant growth.

Excelente iluminación. Lo tengo en el ciclo de 24 hrs y es agradable ver el cambio de intensidad y colores durante el día. Si no te gusta este ciclo tienes la opción de dejarlo fijo en luz fría blanca muy intensa o también el ciclo de cambio de colores RGB. En resumen muy buena relación precio calidad.

It's good, loving it. The light brightness and colors are adjustable, while there are 2 sets of timers for setting too. Nice!

Been using this for 2 months straight on the 24 hour sunrise to sunset cycle and it takes care of the full spectrum plant lighting I needed. Non disruptive and no negative behaviours seen in the plants, fish or shrimp. Both rooted plants and floaters exploded in growth so much that I started another tank for just aquatic frogs using the plants grown in this tank over just 2 months. The light exceeded my expectations. Photos are attached are in evening part of the timer/cycle. If you’re looking for a light that does it all with no worries with timers etc just get this plug it in, set it and you’re all done. No need to touch the lights again after initial set up.
