AUSTOR 60-40 Tin Lead Rosin Core Solder Wire for Electrical Soldering (1.5mm, 100g)

This is the very best solder we've found, and only use this one at my college where I teach electrical system service. The .062' thickness is just right, because you don't have to feed long lengths to do the job, making it easy to use. The one pound size lasts a long time, as you hate to run low in the middle of a job. The functionality is excellent as the solder joints quickly take the solder in every case, even unusual soldering tasks. Many brands of solder have been tried at my college, but this one is the only one allowed, since student time is very valuable, and workmanship must always be perfect.

Works well and was affordable

Theres a lot of solder wire out there and most requires flux. This one was so good for me. I immediately bought a second.. good product good seller.

Electronic solder is getting hard to find with all the Radio Shack stores out of business.

This solder works very good and does not spatter like others. The solder flows good on the heated PC board and component for a good connection. When soldering heated stranded wire, the solder flows into and around the wire strands for a solid tinned connection. The solder works as it should on a clean pre heated tinned soldering iron tip to make a good soldered connection. I recommend this choice of solder. Best Regards, Orion

This product is amazing, it melts at a low temperature and Is extremely easy to use, it came very quick and was an amazing price, I reccomend this to everyone who is looking for a great quality solder for a low price

Nothing to say, flows well, is clean, and works as intended. Don't forget to always add extra flux anyway!
