If you have a converter, you could also plug it into a wall outlet, but the converter is not supplied with the unit. **Q: Can the charging cable be used to connect to the xbox one s to charge an xbox series x controller?** A: The charging cable is just a standard USB to USB type C cable, so you could use it for anything that fits. General rule of thumb to keep a rechargeable battery happy is to charge it when very low, then stop charging when at full charge. Since the controller is off, it's unlikely that there is any battery drain, so the charger isn't continually "topping off" the battery charge, which can cause battery degradation.
