It only takes once to have that happen before you learn very quickly. It can be a little difficult to lift up on the thinner velcro strip to release the pressure, if you have hand issues so it wouldn't hurt when you lay that thin strip down, instead of lying it perfectly straight across the velcro leg strap, just lay it slightly upward or downward. They are not to tight, they don't slide and the little blue thing fits perfectly in the hole.
