I bought a regular Eureka Powerspeed 6 years ago and loved it. It finally threw up the white flag on me recently. From what I have been told, that's about the average length of time they work. I wouldn't change my purchase for anything. It worked well until the day it just didn't. I adopted a kitten this year and when Spring hit, he started shedding. I bought a cordless, stick vacuum first to replace the first Eureka I had, but that was a mistake. Not knocking the cordless, stick vacuum because it's good for what it does (a quick clean up), but it does not pick up pet hair like I need it to. I decided to purchase the Eureka Powerspeed for Pets and OMG, game changer! The suction on this thing is amazing!! The canister is larger that the regular Powerspeed and the filter is easily rinseable. The first night after receiving my new vacuum, I emptied the canister twice. It picks up pet hair like nobody's business! Get it! It's money well spent and if I have to order another one in six years, I most definitely will!! The attachments work great as well. It's easy on my back. I believe it weighs about 10 pounds, but honestly it doesn't feel like it. It moves smoothly. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I will reiterate that someone else said about the vacuum is please be careful not to get the cord stuck under the vacuum. I learned from my first Eureka Powerspeed that it will strip your cord easily. Mine of course still worked, but the fact that I could see white where the black cord cover came off always bothered me.

Top notch vacuum cleaner. Works like a champ! Sucks up good and deep without multiple passes. I really like the ease of everything especially emptying the floor pickup container. All the adapters work perfectly. Very good if you have any furry pets that leave hair everywhere. It runs very quietly compared to older vacuum styles. Cord is long enough to reach almost everywhere in the apartment. I bought one for me then got another for my neighbor with two cats and a dog. Fits nicely in the closet!

I would literally recommend this vacuum 100% times over. My rottweiler sheds a lot of hair, this thing picks it up off the hard floor and the carpet great. I can even see it picking up hair from before it even gets close to it, it’s that powerful. I love that the bin is clear so you can see everything it’s picking up easily. Super easy to empty right over the trash too and then place it right back in. The tools it come with do wonders on my couch. I’m seriously amazed how much dirt, dust, and hair it picked up. Took me less than 3 minutes to put the thing together. It’s not too heavy either. 10/10 recommend.

So I’ve had this vacuum for several months now. The suction is great. It works very well on my rugs much better than my other vacuums in the past. It leaves the lines that I like that make it look like you really vacuumed. You have to pick the settings which I think helps having the different settings. It also works well on carpet. Overall the suction is great. My complaints would be that the cord is pretty short also be very careful not to accidentally get the cord under where the suction is because it will easily damage the cord. I’ve done this a couple times now. It’ll expose the wires and I’m pretty sure if I hit that same spot that I’ve hit before it will break the cord in half so be very careful about not getting it caught underneath. Also, and this is a minor complaint. It is very loud now I’m totally fine with a vacuum being loud if it does everything I wanted to do, but I do have animals and yes, they are terrified and it is kind of annoying but if this is something that might bother you just be aware it is very loud. Overall, I think this is a great vacuum for the price and the main thing is it does do what I needed to do which is suck up the dirt really well. The suction is the best I’ve had for a vacuum, so that’s what’s most important to me. If it helps, I use setting one for hardwood setting three for rugs and setting five for carpet. If you’re on a budget, I highly recommend this. Also the attachments work very well but again warning they don’t have a lot of give so that part is slightly annoying, but they do work well.

This vacuum is super quick to assemble. I have a Newfoundland and the heavy Shark pet vacuum didn’t seem to be doing enough. I bought this on Prime days and literally vacuumed 2 days prior to getting it, I vacuumed the living room and it was above the fill line! Just imagine all the stuff that had been there and not getting picked up! It is light, easy on the back. It works great on hardwood and area rugs. Long cord and I can see all the dust it is capturing. I would give it a 10 if I could.

Easy to put together. I know this because I did it by myself lol the dust it picked up was amazing. Seriously, my bedroom carpet looks new. I was using a $30 stick vacuum for the 3 yrs I've been in my home, and that was obviously not sucking up as much as I thought. The performance was great. Its a keeper for me.

Great vacuum cleaner, I love it except that hair and dust and his performance is great. The Eureka power speed, lightweight upright back in cleaner is great for cleaning as well as if you have back problems it doesn’t hurt your back as much because it’s such lightweight to handle would recommend it.

Pros: - The vacuum boasts exceptional suction and pickup power. It effectively removes dirt and dust that I never even noticed in my carpets, even though I’m quite meticulous about cleanliness. However, after using this Eureka vacuum, I realized that my carpets weren’t getting as clean as I desired, and I was astounded by the vacuum’s power. - Another great advantage is the detachable handle, which allows you to reach into small areas like walls, floorboards, and so on. However, it’s not very long, and there’s no extension rod tool that hooks onto the handle when you use it. For example, when I tried to vacuum behind my dryer, I couldn’t reach it well because there’s no extension rod that hooks onto the handle. So, the removable handle is a pro. - Another advantage is its affordability. I only paid $66, and they had a coupon for an additional $30 off, making it an even better deal. However, if I had paid more than $100 for this vacuum, I would be returning it due to the cons I’ve listed below. Cons: - The detachable handle doesn’t have an extension tool to make it reach in long places, such as behind a washer or dryer. It makes it very difficult and frustrating. - Another con is that the vacuum is very cheaply made with very inexpensive plastic vacuum parts and add-on tools. - Another con is that it’s extremely loud. However, all vacuums are loud, and yes, this one’s louder than my last one, but the great power outweighs the loudness. I also have a Eureka robot vacuum that I love and it has great suction too, so you can’t go wrong with Eureka. It really depends on whether your pros outweigh the cons. I’m keeping the vacuum because of the price and don’t feel like returning it, but if you want excellent suction power, this is the vacuum for you.

Probably the best vacuum I've had. The pet attachment works very well, easy to move and carry. Emptying is easy.
