John Deere Complete 42" Mower Deck for LA105, LA115, LA125, L100,L110, and More

Bought my LA115 in 2010 when I retired and moved to the TX Gulf Coast. Kept outdoors and the deck finally rusted through. Priced a new mower at $2K. Bought this deck instead. Exact fit, no modifications needed. Came with belt, blades, scalp wheels and all attachment hardware except lift arms. I did lube the spindles' before hooking up. Mower now cuts better than when new. Not sure of the improvements to the deck but they work. I recommend and would buy again.

it worked and fit with no modifications. I have a 2007 john deere 105, this will be the third deck on it. The first was the original deck, then I put a used deck on it, and now this new one. I think I might get 7 years out of this one. John deere mower decks are made of thin cheap metal but the mowers are comfortable and make well. I mow 2.5 acres at least 20 times a year, some ground is pretty rough.

The deck was simple to install and made my 13 year-old L110 cut like new! The package could have used more notes on adjusting the deck and fewer on how to install warning stickers, but overall I was very pleased with the product. When this deck wears out it’ll be time for a new mower!

I would give this 5 stars but there were two things that make it so i couldn't.. First, if the sender had put tracking on it so I knew when I would be getting it that would have been nice. The driver didn't wait for my boyfriend to answer the door before starting to leave. And we had no idea it was gonna be delivered the day it came. We obviously got it though. Second, And this ones a bigger issue, the holes didn't match up.. so luckily I had someone good with mechanics putting the deck onto the mower.. they had to run to the store to pick up different bolts and such to make it fit, because the ones it came with wouldn't work.. which was frustrating. You'd think it would come with the holes lined up properly with how expensive these things are... However aside from those two issues it attached fairly easily and it's working great.

Be sure to follow the instructions & diagrams. don't forget washers and clips. a helper is handy (it is heavy). Once installed, works better than original, quieter, used for a few months now, clean cut, never clogged the bagger chute, quite satisfied. Found the vendor most helpful (called before purchase with question). Delivered several days before promised date. Very satisfied!

Product was flawless, and of better quality than the original it replaced. It comes with a deck clean out port and hose adapter among other improvements. The spindles need to be greased before use and lift arms swapped out from old unit. Really seems beefier than the older units. Their shipping company couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. Ordered on Friday received the following Thursday. Perfect fit on my 2010 LA135. It took 24 minutes to remove old deck and put on new one. Deck came fully assembled with spindles, blades, pullies, belt, safety chute. All I had to add on were the wheels. I detached the old deck in 8 minutes. Be certain to keep the support straps you will need them for the new deck. Take your time remember how old deck was attached and new deck installation takes little more than 15 minutes. You will need a needle nose pliers to remove cotter pins, socket wrench to remove support strap bolts to put them on new deck. One con, price was a bit steep but it included free shipping.

Our old mower deck rusted through after some 15 years of abuse, topping our three and a half acre ridge and furrow horse paddock. A year of patched up use later brought the point where we were spending more time replacing or re-attaching drive belts than mowing, or so it felt. We found the replacement on Amazon and, after a sharp intake of breath at the price and not a little trepidation, ordered it. It arrived in a strong cardboard box on a pallet. After unpacking and checking that it was likely to fit, loaded it into a vehicle to take to the mower. After removing the old deck, the only parts needed were the two support arms. Everything else came with the replacement. The instruction booklet mentioned drilling out the holes for the securing pins but, in our case, there was no need, so it was a straight forward case of sliding the old deck out and sliding the new in (apart from the support arms), connecting up and making adjustments to get the deck level. Removing the old deck, fitting the new and making adjustments took one person just over an hour. Topping an acre was the test run and, if anything, the replacement seemed to be better than the original when it was new. Expensive? Yes, but certainly worth it for us, especially when you add up what the individual parts would have cost.

My mower has a perfectly serviceable chassis and engine but the deck was worn out and rusting. Repaired a couple of times ,it finally gave up the ghost. By buying this replacement deck has completely rejuvenated the mower. It comes with a updated lift system and is easy to fit. Lets face it it is an OEM part so fitting accuracy is not a problem. At £850 it is quite an investment but if you chassis and engine are good it is a lot cheaper than buying a complete mower.
