My favorite pen ever! the ink flow is always perfect and there is no drying time. They look good and professional and they are easy to use. A great value for the money spent! All in all a wonderful purchase!!

This was a great value set of black ink pens. I love how smoothly the gel ink flows from each of these pens. I have them all over my house and rely on them when I need to write script or print by hand. They should last long enough to prove a good value. I cringe every time I dispose of an empty pen as these are not refillable. Too much plastic waste entering our environment.

Perfect pens.

I used to get the fine point pens. I had no idea they made the medium point. I like writing with the medium point, and these are fantastic. I used them constantly. They write as soon as I use it, and had never skipped or stopped writing.

Finally! An "old-fashioned" ballpoint pen with all of the good features and none of the bad. Good ones...nice, hard point for when you need it, ink doesn't smear if it gets wet, clear case so you can see how much ink is left, a cap that slides on and off easily, has a side clip for pockets or paper and ink doesn't form a 'glop' on the side of the tip as you write (at least not so far, I've been scribbling for about ten minutes and no sign of one at all). Bad ones NOT here...ridges in the case that hurt your hand. Other good features...a small but comfortable grip right where it's needed. (The old-fashioned ones had none.) Yesterday a drop of water got onto a very dry phone number that I had written with a gel pen and it smeared to unreadability. I'm tired of these new inks smearing. I really needed that number. (Four numbers smeared so it's not like I can just dial ten different phone numbers and eventually reach the one I need.) So I got thoroughly bummed and angry and looked up ballpoint pens, hoping I had found a good one with all the features I needed. And I did! When they arrived today I immediately wrote something and then poured water on it. No running or smearing at all. Yes, I'll still keep my "safety" pens for writing checks, and yes, I do like all the cool colors the gel pens come in, but when I'm writing something important like an address or phone number, I will definitely reach for one of these. And I did notice how nice this pen felt in the hand and all the above good points, too. By the way, before I wrote this review, I first ordered another box. Yes, they may look "cheap" with the near all plastic, but they are comfortable...and like I think someone else wrote, the black color makes them look less cheap.

Love these pens! Use for work, business, planner, etc. No smearing. Easy to use. The cap isn't hard to take off like other pens I've used. Writing is very simple. I always write in black ink, so if that is what you prefer, you won't be upset with purchasing these.

This is my most reliable ballpoint pen. It writes smoothly and is comfortable in my hand. It also has a clear barrel so I can tell when the ink is running low. I prefer the medium point black and the Pentel RSVP always has them available, although I do find the fine point is more common. I must have been using this type of pen for more than a decade already, but it still gives me a little spark of happiness when I pick it up to write. I tend to press hard on the point by habit, but this pen can take the pressure and will not break at the tip like so many others.
