Works well, and stores up very compact.

I broke this windscreen in at Shackleford Banks this weekend and it was great. When it wasn't windy, there was a strong breeze, and this was used with both an alcohol burner and to shield the fire which was burning through our firewood too fast because of the breeze. It's sturdy enough the shove down in the sand a little if you need to. Pros: lightweight, works like a charm at the beach, and hard to beat that price if you need it within a few days Cons: the baggy it comes with is kind of a crummy tool for the job, there are no instructions so I have no idea what the strange pins on the side do (but they don't get in the way)

Beautifully made, and the sections may be easily removed or added to fit the size pot in use. The weight is a little disappointing: just under 1 ounce per section, so for 8 sections to go around my larger pot, just under 8 ounces added to the load. Material appears to be aluminum but might have been lighter gage to reduce weight. It works perfectly as windscreen for the alcohol stove I intend to use it with. I will probably not use this for backpacking unless really heavy wind dictates. It will certainly go along for desert and car camping.

Looked at when it arrived. Will use it on a grill to cook on windy days. It should set on the grill ok when hooked together. I shall see. If it don't, in the camping box it goes. I will say it appears to be good steel. I just hope it don't warp.

This worked better than ever! Just had opportunity to use it. Large enough to go all the way around my 2 burner propane stove. My stove has the arm that attaches to a propane bottle and it went around it good enough without it falling over. Very windy conditions and with this guard, food cooked extremely well and fast! Without it, all the heat was being blown out from underneath the pots and skillet to the point the bottom of the pots weren’t even hot to touch. It also folds up and stores away easily in the bag that is provided. I love that it is small when folded up and doesn’t take up much room in my CamperVan. I highly recommend! I’ll try to update with a video later.

I love it. Great windscreen I have already used with my titanium backpacking stove (used 5 panels and the pins in ground held the screen secure) and my single burner butane (can-type) car camping stove (screen shielded both sides and rear using all 10 panels (was on a table so pins were not needed). Think I sold 2 as people asked me where I got mine. Yours are perfect thickness and height in my opinion for general use. I had no trouble with hinge pins falling out as some reviewers did with other brands. Yes for the UL backpacking crowd these are too heavy (they use aluminum foil or wishful thinking), but for everyone else I recommend this windscreen. I also tried it with a Jetboil and it was high enough to even shield that pot. I am thinking about ordering the 8 panel version and cutting the plates to ~1/2 height and carrying only 5 as my titanium stove is so low the full height panels are way too tall. It will weight slightly more than my homemade thin aluminum roll up screen I have been using, but I like the way this folds flat. I am not a gram counter, prefer function over "absolute lightest". Me, I tent and car camp, hike, backpack (>6k mi so far). This is a good product.

This little windscreen is exactly what I was looking for. I chose the ten panel, it’s a little larger but I needed more room to fiddle with the stove and reach the controls inside of the panels without knocking anything over. Plus it gives me extra room for anything else I might want to put beside the stove. I added a fuel base for size reference. One thing worth noting, you can carefully take out pins from the inside panels and remove panels if you need to shrink it down. The end piece with the slide is great for pushing out other pins. If you want to address the little pokey ends of the last two pieces (used for staking the screen in), you can dab some UV glue on the tips, then remove the glue “caps” as needed. It’s not shiny which I’m also pleased with. Well packaged with no damage to any of the panels. Glad I took a chance. Easy to use and a great value.

This is terrible. It does not hold up to windy situations which is what this is intended for. I wanted to use this because the weather had been windy and even i was trying to use my jet boil stove and a pot the windy conditions were eating much of my fuel. I bought this hoping it would keep the wind from blowing through lit fire. This would not stand still or keep a solid perimeter around my cooking set up. I tried putting up rocks to keep it steady. It still moved. This is garbage. Don't buy because it is an absolute fail with its design.

Everything is exactly as described and quality is great.

It does help to block moderate wind speed. It's a decent product and I'm happy with my purchase.
