I've got lots of YoLink devices, including the water leak sensors, automatic water shut off, a temperature sensor for my pool, infrared remote controller, and more. The hardware and software is really good. Yes, you may think "why should I pay this much for a temperature sensor?" I learned the hard way. I wasted a lot of money on Govee ones with the worst battery life ever. Yes, I saved on the price up front but I have to replace the batteries every 2 or 3 months. And those ones aren't even connected to the internet! Instead, with YoLink, the batteries last for years and the devices are connected to the internet. If you want alerts for a specific temperature threshold you can do that easily, and no matter where in the world you are, as long as your phone has a signal, you'll get an alert. Great products and are priced fairly for what you get. In this picture you'll see the waterproof temp and humidity sensor. I have it hanging up in a spot outside my house, that doesn't get direct sun, or rain. The YoLink hub is necessary but you only need one of those for all your devices. That's the secret sauce and why the signal range is so good and the batteries last a long time, as they use "LoRa" protocol.

I have both indoor and outdoor sensors! Easy to set up and I have not had one problem with it. Great app easy to use and sends me notifications based on my settings. Highly recommend Youlink!!

YoLink products are great. The range is far superior to anything else. Integrates with Alexa very easily--you can just ask her what the temperature is. I have several of these and none have failed...nor has any of their other products I've installed. Temperature seems accurate with other devices I've compared them with. Have to install their hub...which connects to the web via WiFi or Lan. Batteries last for quite a long time...some of my devices have been in use for over a year with plenty of battery life to go.

YoLink products are the best. Using this to monitor greenhouse temperature and humidity and another to keep an eye on temperature in the chicken run.

These are not “worthless” but they are of little worth and a terrible value. I bought a bunch of Yolink stuff a couple of years ago. The Hub works fine, the INDOOR camera, is acceptable. The switching out let has worked as well. These temp senders are a joke. The ones I have indoors work pretty well. Those outside are junk. The specs say they have a temp range of -22 to 130. They actually do pretty well in the summer but the cold side is WAY wonky. This morning it was 19f and these all red 8-9 degrees higher. Given that they are a couple of years old and near or at their end of battery life window, i decided to change those. Guess what? YOU CAN’T. The cases are sonic welded together. The amount of forc e required to get to the 2 aaa batteries causes so much stress on the unit it now reads 40 higher than ambient. And I was careful. This will also be the case with all the indoor units as well. Ohhh….and I am still waiting for the OUTDOOR cameras they have been promising for years. Buy someone else’s product.

I bought several of these Yolink temperature sensors and they all work fine and are very accurate. They work with or without the hub but they work much better with the hub. I unplugged the hub for awhile thinking I didn't need it but then i had sensor disconnecting randomly so I plugged the hub back in and all the problems disappeared. So yes, you need the hub to be happy with these. And the hub is cheap and tiotally plug and play so no worries. And they're so easy to set up even grandma can do it.

I decided to buy the Yo-Link base station, 2 motion sensors, and 2 outdoor temperature sensors. One motion sensor is in the living room and is very sensitive and detects the slightest movement. The other sensor is in my mailbox. I get an instant notification, and email whenever there is movement in my apartment. I had mail stolen from me. It is nice to know when I get mail, or if someone is tampering with my mailbox. The mailbox is on the other side of my apartment building, probably at least 1,000 feet away. I was surprised my base can get a signal on my mailbox that it is so far away. I have an outdoor temperature sensor to tell me the current temperature outdoors, and an outdoor temperature sensor in my car. I can now get the temperature of my car on cold winter days when I use the remote start. I had troubles integrating it with Alexa, and haven't used it. So I am only giving it four stars. Using the Yo-Link app, and the notifications are fine with me though. I have an indoor temperature sensor that works fine, but I have not integrated any automation on it to turn on alexa enabled plug to run the air conditioner or heater at certain temperatures, but the feature is there. The only gripe I have, if I need to keep temperature records.. The temperature sensors only report to the base every 15 to 30 minutes. It will miss high and low temperatures for the day. The same thing with a car temperature, sometimes by the time I remote start my car... The car will already be warmed up by the next time the sensor reports to the base. It is probably built that way to save battery life. Also, I have set up an alert if the car reaches 110 or 120 degrees during the summer, to remind me to take out electronics that have batteries, or anything that can explode in high heat. The Yo-Link temperature and motion sensors have a wide variety of uses, good range, and overall I am satisified. Just had issues connecting it with Alexa.

Comprei para acompanhar a temperatura na casa das montanhas. Perfeito!! Com o Hub da Yolink tenho em tempo real a informação, à distância. A interface me dá a temperatura, umidade e o ponto de orvalho. Toda a configuração foi fácil de ser feita. Se está querendo acompanhar essas informações à distância, RECOMENDO DEMAIS.

J'ai ce capteur depuis plusieurs mois et il fonctionne parfaitement. Il est connecté a mon téléphone avec l'application du fabricant. Jai aussi plusieurs autres capteurs de cette marque et je suis vraiment ravi car aucun ne ma fait défaut jusqu'ici. J'ai installé un kit home assistant dans ma maison et tout mes capteurs sont connecté a mon système. Tout a été rapide et facile a installer. Je recommande.

I bought this when the outdoor sensor for my Netatmo system died, and I couldn’t get a new one. It works well and has a fantastic range from hub to sensor. App also works well.

I bought this to monitor the temperature and humidity in our attic. I already have the YoLink hub so connecting this sensor to the system took less than a minute. I get live readouts on my phone wherever I am and I can set high/low temperature and humidity level alerts if I want. I've had door and window sensors for 2 years now and still on the original batteries. I can also monitor the remaining battery life of each sensor on my phone.
