I have wavy/curly 2b hair and I LOVE this thing! It's very light weight and stays on due to the tie. I'm always hot in the double lined silk bonnets but this is great even on warm nights when the ac only goes so far. My hair is not a frizzy mess in the morning and it's easy to hand wash and dry over a hanger. It dries very fast. Highly recommend it!

I really like this bonnet. The quality is so nice and soft. It also came with a silk scrunchie.my only gripe is it is too small if my hair is not in braids twists, or something similar. I have boob length mostly type 4 hair with some type 3 curls, and it's just not big enough woth my curls out or when my hair is stretched. The headband part adjusts well and it stays on good enough. I did end up buying a cheaper large one do see how my hair fits before dropping another $50 on this brand. I think it would be worth the money i juat want to see how similar styles fit first.

To my surprise, I like it! The tie doesnt bother me like I thought it might. The silk is very nice -- its definitely real silk. I'm still learning how to use it which is why I gave it 4 stars. Cant exactly say that my curls are perfect when I wake up but I think some of that is a learning curve. When I had long hair some of the strands came out wonky-- like i slept on them and changed their shape. I recently cut my hair and so far its kept the style well. I've tried scarfs before but this is my first bonnet. It does not come off during the night. I have a small head and lots of hair.

This bonnet is very soft and comfortable to wear over night, however it is not suitable for curl protection. For one, the elastic that's inside the band is thin and not secured so it twists around inside, which is annoying. Second, the band part that actually secures the bonnet to your head is too wide and is not silk lined. I have a pretty high forehead and I'd have to wear this with the band pretty much just above my eyebrows for my hairline to not end up completely flattened and mussed up worse than if I just slept on it with nothing. On the whole, would not recommend this bonnet for curl protection overnight.

I'm having terrible breakage on my hair, it's almost created mini "bangs" it's that bad. I recently discovered that it's because I wear my hair up in a ponytail or bun everyday when I get home from work and go to bed. I can't sleep with my hair down as it's long and it gets hot, uncomfortable and messy. My friend recommended that I purchase a silk sleep wrap for my hair to help protect my hair and keep it out of my face. I didn't want to spend too much money on the one that she has ($60) so I researched on Amazon and ultimately decided for this one. Not many of these bonnets/wraps/caps have reviews so I wanted to help someone else out. I have a pretty medium sized head and I'd say that this cap is a little big but it's totally fine when you tie it. I actually wrap the ties around to the front of my head and tie it so that I'm not sleeping on a bow. I also wore the cap inside out because the outside is softer than the inside. I didn't think it would actually stay on all night from my tossing and turning but it did! This is a great, cost-effective cap.

Not real silk. I purchased a pillowcase from this brand and it is absolutely real silk but this bonnet is not. The inside isn’t silky, it’s scratchy. The outside feels satiny. Did the burn test and it didn’t turn to soft ash as real silk should. The photo of the residue on my thumb is after aggressively rubbing the ball between my fingers and some ash flaked off but it pretty much retained its shape. I never tried it on so I cannot say anything about the fit but it doesn’t look like it would stay snug. Crazy that my $25 ZIMASILK bonnet is real silk and this isn’t. The LilySilk website does say that this item is Silk Charmeuse which would explain the glossy side and the matte side but the burn test and just the way it feels doesn’t seem right.

I’ve only been using this a few days now but I am loving it! It’s great to protect my face and protect my hair all in one! I thought about a silk pillowcase but that doesn’t protect my hair from My face. I chose this one as advertised as 100% mulberry silk which is what you want to look for in your silk bonnet!

I really like this sleep bonnet. No more waking up with tangles (rats nests) in my hair, which reduces hair loss too. I turn it inside out, so the smoothest side touches my hair. I also found that if I tie it under my chin, that it does not fall off during the night. I have shoulder length hair, and I put it up on top of my head in a scrunchie at night, and then put this sleep cap on . Its nice and cool. It does not make my head hot. The next morning, just brush, and my hair is fluffy and silky, ready for the day. I hand wash with Woolite. I've purchased two, so I have one to wear while the other is in the wash. I highly recommend this product to reduce wear and tear on your hair. Hair remains silky, the next morning. PS: I should add, that I always use a silk pillow case too. When I have to sleep on a cotton pillow case, the cap falls off due to the friction with cotton pillow case. But when I sleep on a silk pillow case, the silk case and silk bonnet work beautifully together. The cap never falls off. I hope this helps.

It’s comfy, breathable and lightweight. Makes your hair super soft and shiny. Stays on.

It’s waste of $40.00, instead just use any silk scarf Lying around to wrap on head. It’s flimsy and nothing luxurious about it.

I thought it was double layered bonnet with the smooth side of the silk weave in the inside and on the outside but it's just one layer with the rough side on the inside. Which is ok considering the relatively low price. But I prefer my double layer silk bonnet although it was 20$ more. (Brand was cocheng, also on Amazon)
