Tarot de Marseille Jodorowsky

Okay, so.. firstly, don't pay too much attention to the colors in the photographs. They are not correct but this phone can only do so much. I compared them to downloads of the original images and they seem to spot on as far as I can see. These ARE printed in France and they are beautiful. The card stock is on the thinner side (like a poker deck) and the finish is a semi gloss (on the side of matte). Both of these things I prefer. I wouldn't use these if reading cards was my career, I don't know if they'd hold up. There is no LWB (little white book), as another customer stated, but a QR code on 2 cards at each end of the deck. $50 is a little better than what I have seen elsewhere. Original run decks are $271 or more so... but they ARE out there. They arrived exactly when they estimated they would. Hope this helps. Edit: I should mention that this is not a first print. On the bottom of the pack it reads: 03 2024. (The QR Code on the inserts should also be a dead giveaway, as they didn't exist in the late 90s). Also, I added photos of the four inner flaps that depict each of the four corner figures in Le Monde.

LWB not included, you are advised to scan a QR code for online information. The text on the cards is in French, not English, which might be difficult for new tarot users. However since the pip cards are not named, numbered or tell a story like waite/golden dawn cards, the lack of English might add to an unforced interpretation. Reviewers commented on the card stock, but the deck I received in 2025 is excellent card stock and has vibrant color and clean lines. Overall pleased. When asked to rate itself, the deck replied, king of swords, see screen shot. Fyi, the tarot, the spiritual teacher in the cards by jodorowsky can be found as a free pdf on the internet. To get the most out of his deck and his interpretive design choices get the book or the pdf.. or of course decide for yourself

I purchased Le Tarot De Marseille as a gift for a friend. The deck in its original scale seems to be out of print and the only decks that are being sold are the minis so I had to jump at the offer as soon as I came across this seller. The item is in mint condition and arrived sooner than expected keeping in mind that the item was imported from the U.K. all the way to L.A. My only concern was the thin packaging specially when shipping items overseas. Other than that the item fulfilled the description and is in brand new condition. I own my own Marseille deck and it looks as good or if not better than the one i purchased 3 years ago. Thanks Marc for such a sweet deck!

Deste çok güzel, coins kartlarında numaralandırma olmaması ve page of coins’in adının diğer court kartları gibi altta değil de yanda olması dikkatimi çekmişti, baskı hatası mı diye düşünmüştüm ama araştırdığımda orijinal desteye sadık kaldıkları için böyle yapıldığını öğrendim. Death kartı da isimsiz bir kart, Marseille ve Visconti-Sforza destelerinde bu kart gerçek ölümden daha geniş bir anlam ifade ettiği için kasten isimsiz bırakılmış. Kağıt, baskı kalitesi ve kartların boyutları gayet güzel. Tarot ile ilgilenenlerde olması gereken dört desteden biri.

For those of you wandering how to read some cards as reversed or upright the cardmaker has left the camoin print as an indicator. If it reads jodo camoin on the bottom left hand side the card is in the upright. I thoroughly enjoy the colours and geometric appeals of this set of cards. As well as the sense of authenticity with this deck being one of the founding fathers of modern Tarot designs and the core themes in the major arcana. Absolutely love it, well worth the £22!

There is a manual online. The cards are beautiful.
