I was initially in the market for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but after waiting weeks for a model I had ordered, I was unceremoniously informed by Amazon, that Kitchen Aid could not deliver. I was initially deeply disappointed. Then, not one to dwell on past mistakes, I opted instead to order a Cuisinart Stand Mixer and what a happy decision that turned out to be. The Cuisinart arrived quickly, in mint condition. It is solidly built and nicely designed and looks great on my counter top. It is very simple to use and clean and very powerful. I have used it a few times to mix bread dough, which is the primary reason I ordered it, and it does this masterfully with power to spare. I have only owned this item for a month or so, so I cannot speak to its long term durability, but so far, so good. I am very happy with my Cuisinart Stand Mixer.

I've always wanted a stand mixer, but they're so expensive - until I found this one! I just got it yesterday so I've only made whipped cream with it which was fast and easy! I used the splash guard because I didn't know if it would splatter, but the bowl is deep enough and so I didn't need it. The color is called Frosted Blue and it's a beautiful shade of powder blue - exactly what I was looking for and looks great in my kitchen. It has 12 speeds which is great and a speed guide around the speed dial which is very handy for a beginner like me! And it's nice and heavy so the mixer stays put on the highest speed. I can't wait to use it more! I did get the three-year protection plan just in case.

I love this mixer. It fits under my cupboards in the corner of the counter space. It takes up less space than I thought it would. I put it on a tray so that when I want to use it I can just slide the tray forward & not need to lift it. The mixer seems very sturdy and well designed and easy to use.
