Original S.W.A.T. Alpha Fury 8" Side Zip

UPDATE: After a warranty replacement about 6 months ago, the second pair didn't have the same problem with the toe area collapsing, but now the side areas are peeling. Even with these problems, I still like this boot. But, I have to accept the fact they are good for 6 months and not much more. The tread design is excellent and the boot is light, quick and flexible. The zipper on both pair have been flawless. This would be a good summer boot or similar. They also don't scream tactical and with a bit of boot black, can be touched up as needed. I may purchase these again, but at this point will consider them light duty and good for only 6 months. For a little more money, there are better boots available, but these do have their place. END UPDATE I'm on my feet many hours and on hard surfaces and these boots are excellent. No break in was required. The tread pattern is excellent and slip resistant in the real world. My last pair of Original SWAT Metro's lasted a year of hard use and these Alpha's might just become my goto boot. They are faster, lighter and you really don't need to polish them. A little boot black touch up goes a long way on the Alpha. UPDATE: I had these on my feet for 8 days straight, right out of the box, no break in. This was for up to 12 hours per day on concrete and ceramic floors, sometimes even wet and greasy floors. Metal treads were no problem. Excellent grip. Zero issues then and now. They are a perfect three season boot and are stupid easy to keep clean. Just use a boot brush and some water, then add a dab of black boot polish to the already wet brush and have at it. A little on the zipper goes a long way. This also help propel light rain, etc.

This is my 3rd pair of boots from this company. The first 2 pair were long lasting and comfortable throughout my shift. This pair is also very comfortable, however, every time I take a step, me and everyone around me hears a clunking sound coming from the toe box. It's very noticeable and a bit maddening. I thought it would go away with time, but as of now, no luck.

Bought them specifically as riding boots. My other service boots were too tall at the toe to fit under my bike gear lever and made changing gears difficult and dangerous. This boot is lightweight, tough and very comfortable. Side zipper a plus. No problems changing gears. They look cool as well. I purchased them from a different vendor. Highly recommended.

If you're interested in stealth, these aren't the boots you are looking for. While they are very comfortable, when cold, it sounds like you are wearing wooden clogs. When warm, they have this weird cartoon suction cup sound. Imagine Bugs Bunny tying plungers to his feet to walk up a wall. Another reviewer pointed this sound out as well. I bought these as an around the property work boot, so stealth isn't super important there. I'll be keeping them because they are very comfortable.

Parecen de muy buena calidad, tiene la talonera y puntera reforzada. Son muy cómodas. Y la cremallera hace que sea más fácil a la hora de ponertelas. Contento.

Der Schuh ist leicht und nicht so klobig und gefällt mir von der Verarbeitung und der Optik . Was er im täglichen Dienstalltag kann wird sich zeigen !? mfG Jetzt nach 2 Jahren Dienst immer noch Top! Ich habe wohl noch keinen besseren Einsatzstiefel gehabt.
