Human Things GENKI ShadowCast - Easily Connect and Play Game Consoles on The Laptop, Smallest Capture Card with Great Performance

The shadowcast is originally meant to be used as a alternative to an elgato. However I found this to be very useful for raspberry pi projects. Normally for raspberry pi you need to get a separate monitor but with this use one screen. The great thing is is that if you're doing raspberry pi stuff for educational purposes it's easy to get screenshots with Genki Arcade (the app to use with this) the app is available via Windows, Mac and even has a web app. You can 100% uses for streaming games as well, but if you want to have any anything displayed on your laptop screen like a raspberry pi. This works amazing and it doesn't need a power source since it draws it from the USB C connection. It is super slim and compact enough to fit in my switch case. I originally bought this for my switch but ended up using it for a uni assignment get screenshots of the process so worth every penny I spent.

I'm a blind gamer, and I like to stream. So having a means of hooking my switch up to my computer is a must. With having issues with being able to do inputs, lag would also be an issue, but I've not really noticed any. If there is, it's not enough for me to notice, even with playing games that would punish for that sort of thing (Mostly Monster Hunter and Dark Souls.) If you don't have a USB C input on your computer, you'll need an adapter to be able to use it, which could be a concern. But beyond that, it works *perfectly*. The only other thing - I don't know if it's my computer or the product itself, but my laptop is convinced it's a camera and microphone and attempts to use it when I have to do zoom meetings until I change things. Minor annoyance after I realized what was happening (As it can be permanently changed in settings), but it's something you'd have to do everywhere (Like with discord too) if you have it plugged in. Otherwise, it's an amazing product. Easy to use, easy to setup. Even for the quadriplegic blind woman ^^ It's effectively just plug and play. I've never used other streaming products (I can't remember the other one that's commonly used for streaming ^^; ) So I can't really comment on how it compares, but in general, it's worked very well for my needs ^^

Ich habe den Stick gekauft, um meinen Laptop als Monitor zu nutzen. Im Internet ist der Stick auch als eine günstige Alternative dafür bekannt. Dafür eignet er sich gut. Ich bin selbst eine Person die bei der Eingabelatenz sehr kleinlich ist, aber die Latenz hält sich gut in Grenzen. Zum richtigen und profesionellem aufnehmen von Videos würde ich jedoch andere Geräte bevorzugen.
