Can't decide if i'll need to the m/l or l/xl. what are the size measurements?

I am 5'10, 190lbs, 36 inch waist with a a 46 inch chest.   I ordered the XL first an it was too long.  The waist belt would not provide any support since the vest was too long.  Also the belt would not tighten enough to cinch around my waist.   I ordered the Large and it fits much better. The belt cinches  up to my waist,  with more adjustment in and out and the belt will ride high enough to provide support to my shoulders.  Unless you are over 6 foot and have over a 44 inch waist, I recommend buying a large.

Picture says bv15 but description says bv16 which one is it if so what's the difference?

It is the bv16, i dont know what the differences are besides being orange, i dont own a bv15.  I use it for quail in Arizona and it is amazing,  only gripe is the pockets are a little small, other than that very comfortably

There’s only two options on size. Xl and xxl. Can this be returned if he xl is too big for me.

No it cannot be resized, the XL/XXL is very big, I am 6’2” and its almost too big for me, I have all the tightening straps pulled almost as tight as they can go.  If you search on other websites, there are other size options.

Question 4

Can you load rooster from the front? Or does it require the whole vest to come off?

This is my 3rd season with this vest.  There are a couple of things I don't like about it.  First, is there is no water bottle holder. (I'd like 2).  The manufacture wants YOU to use a bladder type of  in the back pocket with a suction hose. It's just not a great way to deliver water to your dog and yourself. I like to use   The problem with that is it takes up room and makes it harder to get the Roosters in the back.  I much prefer to use 16 oz. water bottles to offer my dog as I hunt.  If you place items in the back bungee area, they too take up room. plus there is a zippered storage compartment which seems to be handy until you load it with some food stuff for a days hunt...I hunt in South Dakota each year and go out for an entire day.  I need to take extra stuff.  With 3 pheasants in the back plus all the extra gear, It becomes pretty heavy.  I dam not so happy with it's design.  It IS though made very well.
