Bunions, foot surgeries, wide feet, you name it my feet have had it, so finding shoes that are comfortable and yet give me what my feet need to go all day and work and play hard is difficult. But these do it! My first day with these and I was non-stop motion for hours on end and at the end of the day my feet felt great. I love the fit and better I love that they are not overly structured which causes my feet to ache. Better than barefoot, I love these and will most likely own more than one pair!

So comfortable! Love them. They are A little small so I had to get half a size bigger than I normally wear.

I originally was looking for a replacement for my Merrell Trail Glove 4 Trail Running Shoes which I loved!! I used it to hike trails and for runs on the treadmill at the gym. This shoe was the closest I can find to a replacement. It is very high quality and the lightest running shoe I've ever owned. The problem I have is with the fit. I followed advice from a lot of the reviews that mentioned it's best to order a half-size up as the fit in the toes are tight. Since I had previously ordered a half-size up for the Glove 4, I opted to do the same here as well. I know my foot size is of normal width as I practice ballet and have to get my foot measured. I recommend when considering buying this shoe to order 2 sizes (your normal size and a half size up) to pick the right measurement for you. The shoe is supposed to fit like a glove. For me, everything fits fine but it's especially roomy in the toes. I don't plan on making an exchange as I'm ok with the fit as-is but not 100% satisfied. I miss the Glove 4. That was the perfect all-purpose shoe!

Love the barefoot line. Haven’t found one that isn’t comfortable. Color is great nice and neutral!

The shoe itself is comfortable and true to size. However, the laces go through material that is stiff like cardboard - and that piece cuts into the top of my foot and hurts - very uncomfortable in that area. I could not tolerate walking in them for more than a minute due to that piece digging into the top of my foot. I had to return them. Therefore, I cannot recommend these shoes. I suggest that it be redesigned to get rid of that piece for the laces & go back to fabric material like other Merrell designs. I love Merrell shoes - but not this one.

I got these thinking they'd be an upgrade since my VG3 size 9 is always unavailable in the Baja blue (which I've had the same pair of for, like, 3 years, lightweight, can feel where I'm walking, excellent ground connection). My initial mistake: I put some inserts into the old VG3 to keep me from having to wash the whole shoes every other day, but that tightened them and made my toes bang the fronts so I thought my feet had stretched!! Like what?? Lol Bright idea: So I got these VG5 instead, in a size 10 (bc as well, they don't have that hard rubber toe cover the VG3 have which I incorrectly THOUGHT had become the problem - it was actually the inserts) to see if my toes banged the front - but of course they don't. Because they're too big lol HOWEVER, VG5's thick rounded laces they come with painfully cut into the front of my feet where they tie so I couldn't even tie them tighter against being too big 😞 lol. Anywho I still feel VG3 fits my feet to perfection. As long as I don't put in any dumb inserts. Even the arch in the VG5 doesn't feel "present" like the VG3s. Looks like I'll just have to go back with ye olde VG3 and settle for a different color. I wish the insoles came out for washing though.

Very lightweight, very flexible, very comfortable. I ordered my normal size and had no issues with the fit. Great for hiking if you're not carrying a heavy load on your back (ankle safety). The soles are awesome. You can leap onto big rocks and not worry about losing your footing. I noticed they seem quite breathable as they kept my toes nice and cool on a short 2 mile trek in the woods and I didn't slip and slide going down steep muddy hills. I'd buy these again.

I liked the color, the way they fit & the way they look. No complaints. Fit well, good value. I love them. Very good quality.

I usually fit into a size 7 or 7.5 but I noticed people saying to order a size over. I ordered a size 8 and the shoes fit perfectly. I haven't worn them for a long time so I don't know how well they'll hold up yet. They seem well made. I was looking for a barefoot shoe and these work for that.

The male version of these shoes is identical yet harder to get and more expensive.Just add 1.5 size to your normal shoe size to get the female size. Its the identical shoe, and the shoe is fantastic. Like having spiderman feet or something. I use them for riding Segway-Ninebot and long boarding. Grip movement and feel are all very very good.
