Robokleen pool vack.
Because there are no reviews for this I thought I would be the 1st. I have owned robo Klean robotic vacuums for about 25 years now. I admit I liked the 1st generation Vacuum that sported control alms and front wheels that turned Right and left better. But at the end of the day there are 2 things that are the foundation for anything I buy. Longevity And performance. This vacuum will give you both. My 1st generation Robo Klean I had for 10 years. My son dropped a dumbbell on it and broke the front wheel. At that point i decided to try a Dolphin. Surprisingly it did not clean my pool as well as the Robo Klean. It did however cost a lot more. As an added bonus they give you the it comes with a basket but you really should purchase the better one. It's only a $100 more. After 3 weeks I returned it and ordered a Robo Klean robotic vacuum. Because I purchased it from Amazon I was able to put insurance on it. One of the bonuses of being an Amazon shopper!. Other than the insurance there is no you should buy this as well Type of thing going on. As part of the package it does come with 2 baskets. 1 green 1 white. I put it in. I plug it in. I come back 2 hours later and the pool is clean. The entire pool bottom that is. It does not clean the walls. It does not clean the stairway. Let's be honest. If you're swimming in the pool it shouldn't have to. It also catches fine particulates such as algae and sand. Quite honestly. There are times when I pull my vacuum out and think to myself. I didn't realize there was that much crap on the bottom of my pool. It didn't look that dirty when I put it in. The downside is the phone number they give you to call does not work at all. That bothers me a lot. They will respond within 48 hours to email however. The other downside is the electrical cable does not disconnect from the vacuum. I wish that it did. Perhaps the next generation will. Lastly the instruction manual is worthless. So I will make operating it easy for you. I put my vacuum down on the lawn and I carefully roll out the cable so there are no coils in it. Then I place it in the pool. Turn it a bit to get all the air out of it. Next I put a small rock on the wire where it meets the cable so that the wire cannot go into the water. When it runs It will sporadically do wheelies on the pool bottom. I have no explanation for this because the manual says nothing about this activity. When its done I wash the basket out thoroughly and leave it out to Dry. I carefully wash the inside of the vacuum and put it away in the Box it came in. There is no Dolly available for this machine. To end this review I will say this. Based on Performance and longevity robo Klean robotic vacuum is a tremendous buy at a no frill's price. I do not work for this company and I received no discount or payment to write this review. Thanks for taking the time to read my review good luck. Henry.

Decent the first season, then the problems started.
I purchased this cleaner because I became disabled and was not able to do the pool maintenance like I was able to do in the past. The first season it did a decent job, but cleaning the bag was a little more tedious than other models I've owned. After the first season I stored it away in the dry pool house for the winter. The next season when I pulled it out for use, the power supply was dead. Luckily, it was still under warranty and they replaced the supply. But, then it would never stay on the bottom and would just Bob on the top like a ping pong ball floundering around. After troubleshooting the problem and figuring out the problem it worked fairly well the rest of the summer. I then stored it again for the winter. I pulled it out out again this season plugged it in, and used it one time then the power supply died again. I contacted the company and they informed me that it must have gotten wet! Huh?! It's a pool cleaner used outside! The thing is, that where I plug it in, is under a gazebo with an outdoor cover. So, that's not the real problem. After further inspection the cheap glue they used to seal the power supply box and cable was separating. They informed me that was more than likely the culprit. So, atmospheric humidity is the problem? They said they would be glad to sell me a replacement for $114. At this point After spending $300+ on this obviously poorly engineered and manufactured piece of junk, I'll pass, and move on to a company that will stand behind their products beyond a year.

Best purchase ever!!!
This was a game changer for me. I open, close and maintain my very large above ground pool myself. A friend recommended this model to me, so I checked it out and it was on sale. I couldn't order it quick enough. It has saved me hours and hours of manual labor vacuuming my pool all summer and upon opening, it worked amazing. I call it my pool boy! Price was so right, I've had zero issues and he's still keeping my pool spotless after 2 summers of every other day vacuuming! Love this machine...sometimes the older models are the best! Definitely is in this case!

OK
I did not like this product we bought this in 2021 during the middle of the pandemic and we did not need to use it until now boy I wish I opened it up when I bought it the plug for it. I used it twice in the past week and this is the first time we opened it about two weeks ago, don’t like the extension cord or the electrical cord that it’s attached to seems very dangerous need to make improvements to the court on the robot robot does work well in pool worry about getting electrocuted because the plug literally has been in our closet for two years because our other robot finally gave out it on sale and 2021 took it out last week. I am disappointed of the quality of the cord and scares now I’m stuck with it because I never opened it when we first bought it. What did I learn from that?

Perfect size and a great job
We have a 30x16 sunken above ground pool. We bought our first RoboKleen vacuum about 5 years ago. It’s perfect for our pool. Small enough to handle yet big enough to do a great job. We had to buy this second one because one of the grands was helping us around the yard and decided to plug in the vacuum but not put it on the water. After that we could get it to run. Since the price was still right, we just bought the exact same one again. We don’t think you would be disappointed with this vacuum. We had a more expensive one before but, really, it didn’t do a better job.

Sucks good, but too much time at surface
Great suction power. That is when it’s at the bottom. I so wanted to love this device, love the colors, I called it my John Deer pool cleaner. I would set it in the pool, start the cycle and walk away. Every single time i would come back to find John Deer floating at the surface. I decided to watch it, what happens is it climbs the wall and once at top it sucks air and then becomes buoyant. It literally did not finish a single cycle. I had no choice but to return John Deer.
