Easy to cut to size. Best part is the sticky on back is easy to remove and comes off in tact. I put a strip on my desk above my keyboard for taking quick notes on. Very fun using different color chalk markers.

I found this very easy to put up (keeping in mind that it is contact paper and that takes a little finesse). It's working great for what I need. I read other reviews that they had trouble cleaning it, but I was able to just wipe it off with a kleenex. I did use the regular chalk that came with it, so not sure how it would work with other types of chalk pens, etc. It's a pretty wonderful addition to my office wall for keeping my to-do list.

The tube that keeps the roll together will not stay put at all making it very hard to keep together and put away.This worked nicely to replace the chalk surface on my wine rack. I have a lot more than I'll need leftover but I'm sure I'll find a use for it overtime. The adhesion is good and application is smooth as long as you treat it like applying any other film cover. Comes with a starter of chalk inside the tube.

I am not sure why the chalk does not come off. I use a paper towel that is slightly damp and I’d does not erase even if you apply enormous amounts of pressure. I tried soapy water and a cloth. Same issue. I finally ended up using Comet to remove the chalk.If you don’t mind working very hard to erase your daily grocery list then this is good for you. For me, well, I didn’t return it because I felt I took to long to make a fuss about it.Stickiness is wonderful, too wonderful I should say.

It was perfect for the my easter basket project. Grid paper on the back was helpful. Wiped off easily and very good adhesive.

It's contact paper but it's not rough like a chalkboard so dust free chalk doesn't work in it at all.The liquid chalk works but it doesn't wash of easy: in fact it's very difficult to clean it off. Normal chalk works ok but it's not smooth so using for children's art play looks terrible.It's might work for a sign that your going to make and never erase but just by a different brand and skip this product.It's too plastic like and the scaly textured just isn't with buying.We tried using it on the desk top for playing games or drawing pictures with real chalk and the kids hated itIt's textured like a window screen and you can't make a line without it looking all rough where chalk didn't get in the holes in the surface and the chalk markers don't wash out.It stuck well an peeled off easy... getting rid of it was a joy... Junk!

I had to replacemy old sticky chalkboard that I had for many many years.... And the new piece is doing its job and I'm sure I won't have to replace this one too many many years I stick it on the side of the refrigerator I actually double it up to use the whole item
