Its good but It Wobbles
The material is solid and sturdy. I have Presonus 4.5" Audio monitors on them, it holds them without any problem, the only problem I have with them is even after tightening the screws to the max the stand wobbles a bit, and it's frustrating. when I am cleaning the desk I have to be careful and hold the speakers otherwise they can trip over.

for desktop speakers
these are height and rake adjustable however they are not the easiest to adjust. they are quite heavy and robust. once adjusted you will not need to adjust again. they are also very stable. they do not isolate the desk from the speakers however. you might have to use something other than the thin rubber mat they come with if you want that.
