A bit misleading.
In theory this is a great product. I use it for slug control in the PNW. I had been importing my pellets from the UK and they were great! These products are not washed but the UK product had less sheep manure (I'd say 1/4 manure). This product, which ships from the US, is easily 1/2 manure. And while the smell isn't really an issue is does diminish the part of the product I need which is the itchy wool that wonderfully repels slugs and snails. The UK product is exclusively black or black-brown wool. This product is mostly white wool which looks horrid in my garden. I'm using the whole bag because it was so freaking expensive but I have these off white dirty looking mounds around my beds. I'd prefer the black-brown so its less noticeable and blends in with my mulch. it is what it is. It works great, even helps with water retention. But it looks awful! Maybe in a vegetable garden? But for ornamentals? -It vastly distracts from the plants.

My tomatoes are hapoy
Trying wool pellets instead of mulch. Intention was to help with blight after hard rains. Knowing tomato plants like warm roots I figured wool couldn’t hurt. So far my plants are thriving early and growing quickly. There’s definitely an odor of sheep when your 1st water but it’s not overwhelming.
