After reading the reviews, some stated that these gloves run a bit big, so I ordered a size small. The fit is a smidge tight, but the fingers length fits like a glove!! Once they are broken in, these gloves should loosen up some the fit should be perfect. I use the cheap $1 knit gloves for bowhunting hunting but the one thing that they don't do well is keep my hands/fingers warm at all. Since I wear the fingerless version for ice fishing and they keep my hands warm even after the gloves get wet from grabbing fish thru the ice. I decided to pay a little more and try the fingered version for hunting this year. The fingerless version has served me well for 5 seasons, enduring stuck hooks and countless wash/dry cycles. If the fingerless version can keep my hands warm in below freezing temps while wet...I can assume that for hunting purposes, these should keep my hands much warmer than the cheap $1 knit gloves and still allow me to use my fingers unlike bulky winter hunting gloves. The image is a comparison of my size medium Sitka Traverse gloves. Review: Warm and comfortable: update - gives me a rash. - I wanted old school wool gloves and these are close to what i remember. Not itchy as not 100% wool but feels good. In weather in new england in the twenties they were fine shoveling or when taking a walk. Price was higher than i like but acceptable.: I had to throw them out. After wearing for an hour or so each day i found my hands red and raw. No amount of washing the glove or lotion on my hands prevented the sore rash.

Great gloves, just a little large like the previous reviews have said
Great gloves. Nice and warm, have warm them in the bitter cold this winter. Finally used them earlier today while snow blowing the driveways in my neighborhood. Stand up well to the cold and snow. They aren't water proof so don't expect that but they will keep your hands and fingers warm. Like previous reviews have said they do run a bit large. I normally buy gloves in XL size so i didn't think the large would be a big deal, but the fingers are alot longer then im used to, i find myself tugging the fingers down towards my palms so there isn't a flappy piece of wool at the tip of each finger. The wrist area is also long and covers past the wrist and part way up my forearm which is nice to guarantee no exposure. Again, def worth it but consider getting a smaller size then you'd normally need, maybe 2x's smaller.

Last a little longer than cheaper gloves and feel a little more comfortable, too.
They were warmer than expected. However, I wouldn't wear them in sub-freezing temps unless they had mittens over them. I have been wearing them for chores around the farm and have had to sew them in a few spots already after a few months of use, but I'm using them several days each week which is more than the cheaper work gloves we have. Those get thrown in the wash after a few uses. These ones shed water and can be used longer before washing them. So, for the price, they were a good buy for us.

Love, love, love โค๏ธ
Quality in every fiber! My glove size is a ladies 7 and the mens small fits perfectly. I can wear my wedding ring without snagging the glove. The wool is thick without being bulky or restrictive and is not scratchy. I love the cuff! Super excited to wear this winter!

Very warm gloves!
My husband loves these wool gloves and uses them as liners inside of bigger gloves when the weather is bitter. The gloves are breathable and warm and fit snugly. Great gloves!

Nice gloves except for the fact that they are not ...
Nice gloves except for the fact that they are not full gloves. They are fingerless. Shown as a regular glove. I called about it and the rep found other reports of the same problem. Would have been really nice if they were what they were shown as. It's too cold for a glove without fingers, plus I can't think of a reason to have that type of glove except for the leather ones I used to use on the shooting range. Im

Great gloves
Comfortable and nicely fitting. Wore them daily last winter and bought pairs for the family this year. They held up well even though I used them for some hard chores.

Great gloves
Work well when paired with a wind proof shell glove. The wool seems to handle a wider temperature range than fleece when hiking.

The right fit
My hands are wide. So to get gloves that fit.. like gloves are prone to do, was wonderful. They keep my hands warm, but not too hot.
